Well what a handsome fellow you have. He looks to be very lovable. Enjoyed your pictures.
  • Sunni A.

He looks so alert, my pup always looks so aloof. My dad's whole family lives in Duluth, and my mom's are in Minneapolis! Ah, you betcha, oh for cute, all that.
  • Judi, Dawn, Soffie & Griffyn

Your puppy reminds me of my Griffyn when he was that age.....very cute!!
  • Deb , Gretzky, and Norman

    Hi Elaine,
Thank you for the info n Dahl House Kennels. Where are they located?
Our Corgi's name is Gretzky - how cute - Puck and Gretzky!
Your dogs look adorable. I really think Gretzky needs a little brother or sister.
  • Edward and Gemima

Hi Elaine, Puck and Penelope!! Just wondering who Puck's parents from Dahl House are?? Gem is a Dahl House baby too!!
  • John Wolff

What an adorable dog -- blackheaded tri?
I'm from Duluth originally -- East High 1970. My bro still lives there.
  • John Wolff

I had marvelous fun hiking in northern MN before I left. Of course, most of our "hiking" was in canoes in the BWCA, but I backpacked the Kekekabic Trail twice, the Porcupine Mts. on the U.P., Crosby-Manitou State Park, Isle Royale. The Washington Cascades are spectacular, but they have zilch for birdlife and biodiversity compared to northern Minnesota. Compared to the eastern deciduous forests, the Pacific northwest is positively boring, biologically. I used to roam all around the woods northeast of Duluth (grew up in Woodland, Lakeview Drive) on foot and xc skis.
Duluth is a fnatastic place and I'm still waiting for my return expat visa.

Hi Elaine, Love the pic of Puck on Corgi of the day!! How do you get the photos submitted there???
  • Jeanette

Your corgis are absolutely gorgeous. Puck is striking and Penny is just adorable; however you need to get some pictures posted of that little girl!
So glad you got her out of the shelter; hard to believe someone would let her go isn't it?
  • Jane Christensen

Is your Puck from Dahl house? That's were my Livvy is from!
  • Jane Christensen

Yes! Livvy has the same parents and I suppose Puck is about 1 year younger than Livvy! Livvy is a cuddler and lover but independant so it's on "her terms" She's smart and extremely fast. You can see her pic on the blog...Livvys starting agility! I have another pup from the same parents ordered for next year but a red/white one this time. I do find her a little more difficult than my other dogs but she does catch on fast just doesn't care if she pleases me or not! Does Puck have good eye contact? Livvy is great with this!
  • Jane Christensen

So are our dogs step-siblings??? or something like that??? I can't figure out the correct term. They sure sound alot alike! When Puck gets a little older you should get him a chuck it ball launcher. Livvy can beat our Aussie at getting it and NEVER looses sight of it!
  • Jane Christensen

I just got Livvy one a couple months ago because I felt that she something more demanding of all her energy but i think you could get it sooner and just not throw it so far...I throw it as hard as I can for Livvy and change directions so it goes backwards/sideways etc. I also got the extra rubber(?) heavy duty balls as the one it comes with is cheap! It's the best toy I ever got for her. In the house though she likes the good rubber sqeekey (sp) toys that she can't rip apart especially the balls!
  • Jane Christensen

Also did you get a folder with the siblings pics on??? Livvy had 6 sis/bros. I think about half were red/white and half were tris. I took lots of pice of mom and dad if you didn't get any and want some I could email them.
  • Jane Christensen

I'm at work so when I get home if I have time I will send some! When you get my email it may say Jim on it as my husband and I share the same email. I will try your email soon and then reply please so I know you got it...many pics may have ma and/or my granddaughter on.
  • John Wolff

Looks like somebody out there is breeding blackfaced tris? It's nice to have two; good company for each other. That's been our experience.
  • Jane Christensen

    Hi Elaine,

You can let Puck know he's gonna be an Uncle...Livvy will be having pups in a month or so!!!! We'll see how many tris she has!
  • Jane Christensen

    Hi Elaine!
Yes, I am looking for Pems...Sandy knows I want another pup and I found a breeder in SD that looks very promising BUT I just want to check out every possibility! I want to up the quality! There is also a cardi breeder about 40 miles from us that has done a lot with them...if I didn't have Pems I would be interested! Livvy is getting wider by the day but doing well! Thanks!
