About Me:
Hello! I've been a big fan of Corgi since I was 10. I live in Stockholm with my 5 month old corgi, GIN. Unfortunately, corgi doesn't seem to be very popular here in Sweden, so I dont have any chances to meet other corgis on the streets. Many peple even don't know about corgi... I am often asked what kind of dog it is? or Is your dog mix of German shepherd and some dog??? The most surprising question was made by a lady who used to have a Cairn terrier. She asked what AMIMAL it is! Of course, a dog! Anyway it s been really fun to talk people interested in Gin.

About My Corgi(s):
My corgi's name is GIN, standing for 'Silver' in Japanese. His best friend is a shih tzu girl in the neighborhood where we live. Gin likes running a lot, so I am thinking of challenging agility with him.
I have:

    Welcome Kay and Fin!

    Gin is a beautiful corgi! I've often had people stop me on the street to ask me what kind of dog Pancake. Some people think he's a fox! Isn't that wild?! Corgis are excellent at agility and can change directions quickly and pivot very well because they're short and their center of gravity is lower. I've done some agility with Pancake and we're thinking about starting again this summer. Good luck!

    Gin is beautiful, an I love his tail! Looks like he has some corgi friends in the other pictures.

    Here in the USA, it's like this ugly religious issue. If you want to start a fight among corgi people, start talking about tail docking.

    We tried to find a breeder who would simply save us one pup with a tail, but found that reputable breeders don't work that way, they're breeding for show, and THEY pick your puppy, trying to match the pup's personality to its new family (and Carrie made a perfect pick; Al is EXACTLY who we wanted!).

    I just wish they'd give up this stupid practice; we're way too arrogant and invasive in the ways we treat animals.

    GIN is so cute! I love the tail.....something to grab on to when they FRAP by you and give you a ride.....!

    Whisper would be so jealous of the snow. She's a snow baby at heart. Your pictures of Gin and the other dogs and the country side is beautiful. Course thats just two country girls transplanted to the city.

    Hi Kay and Gin! I saw some of your photos on the photo page and wanted to look at them all so I visited your page. You have some really great pictures! Gin in adorable and I love how you have his little outfits and such. You definitely have a good time with your corgi, which is what having a corgi is all about! Thanks for sharing your photos!! And spreading the word about corgis in Sweden!!

    I like the photos of Gin because he shows me what Al would look like with a tail (I wish they would stop tail docking in America).
    Also, the scenery reminds me of northern Minnesota by Lake Superior, where I come from. We loved skiing on the frozen lakes. A lot of Swedes, Norwegians and Finns emigrated there, so there's a strong Scandanavian influence.
