About My Corgi(s):
Porgy & Bess were born on 9/25/08. They are litter mates and thoroughly enjoying their new privilege of going outside. Please let me know if you have a nyc corgi that can maul them at the dog run!
Hello Leif. . .I'm soooooo excited for you. . .do you have names picked out yet???. . .I got my Cloe when she was 8 weeks old and I tell you, she's still a BIG puppy. . .Corgi talks all the time. . .she's REAL good at waking me up with her Corgi talks early in the morning for her breakfast. . .Corgis Rule!!!
Porgy & Bess, such a classic. . .love it. . .your pupsters are going to have a wonderful world ahead of them. . .good luck and can't wait to see more pics of your little bundles of joy. . . .
I am not a jealous person but, that fact that you are getting not one but, two corgi pups is making me just a little bit green. Looking forward to seeing some pics of your wee ones. Wishing you a long and happy life with your new additions.
Hi Leif, there are several reasons why they may shed more than usual, 1. seasonal, getting ready for the summer. 2. nutrition, adding a tea spoon of oil in his food will improve the coat, give it shine and prevent dryness. 3. emotional, if there's a change in environment, addtion in pets / family member, moving, dogs reaction to stress is shedding.
The best time to give him a proper grooming is immediate after a bath, after the fur is dry, give him a good brush from head to toe, invest in a furminator, read the instruction before you brush him, continue to brush him once a week and that should keep his shedding to a minimal :) Good luck!
