    Thankks =)

    Hi Chocky,

Thanks Chocky. Are you getting a new puppy?
  • JollieEllie

    Is Forrestdale near Perth?
We had to drive 3 hours each way to get Truffle but she's worth it.
    Price is ranging from $850-1000.
Have you done your budget yet? :)
Owning a dog is not cheap plus you need to invest some extra time during their puppyhood and teenager years to train etc.
    Happy puppy hunting!
  • JollieEllie

Not sure bout the postcode. Have you called the breeder yet?
If they're only 20 mins from you, it would be great, wouldn't it?
You could go and have a look at the puppies! :)
  • JollieEllie

    Hey Choky,
    How's the puppy hunting goin'?
  • Ann Edgar

    Oops number is 94551401
  • JollieEllie

Congrats!!!!! Hachiko is soooo cute & just adorable :)I like the name too! any history behind it?
Have you got a crate for her? Where does she sleep?
If you could take some time out to potty train her , it would help a lot but I found with my 2 corgis, you have to be extra patient in this department :)
The first 3 months are the hardest months so be prepared! :):) Have fun!
Just keep your eyes on her ALL the time to catch her in time. Timing is everything :):) Don't let her roam freely as yet.
  • Chantel & Princess Bella

Hi there! It didn't take long for my Bella's ears to go up, I picked her up from the breeder at 8 weeks old & they were already up. Actually, in the photo the breeder sent me, she must have been about 6 weeks old...her ears were already up.

I know it varies, and some corgi's take a bit longer...but they will go up eventually. Hachiko is just so adorable with those floppy ears :-)
  • JollieEllie

Happy new year to you and Hachiko too!
How is she? Don't despair. Eventually toilet training will succeed :) if you're consistent. With Truffle, because both of us work, it took longer for her to be house broken because we left her outside during the day but now she is completely house broken and have full access to the house.
It took about 1 year for her. If you could get a crate, I think it's really really useful. :)

Hi! Is your Hachi named after Hachiko at Shibuya in Tokyo? Very pretty pup!!
  • Alex

Yes, the legendary dog who waited for the owner to come back at Shibuya Station until his death... Not familiar with the manga, but pretty familiar with the story. Lots of Akita named "Hachi" in Japan. :) Very brave & loyal name!
  • Shockoe "Bottom" Bell

Thank you! your lil guy is so cute too!

Oh wow! I found another member who lives in Australia! Although we are not in the same state. I live in Sydney with my family and 2 dogs. One of which is a Blue merle Cardg=igan corgi, named Mab. Little Hachiko is such a sweetheart!
  • Rachel & Goldie

Im Australian But Im victorian Hachiko is sooo cute!!!!! i love picture 17 =D
  • Mim

Corgi breeders are still breeding, they just don't have many litters so you'd be waiting a little while. In fact Jentol had a litter of pups not long ago. Perhaps you should get in contact with your breeder again and they can help you find a puppy.

Unfortunately for me, my work is open most public holidays but if we aren't I might toddle down with Sarge, perhaps Daina too. I hope it's not too hot though.

Don't know if I'm going to the riverside gardens meet yet, gotta organise myself a bit better lol.

It would be really great to get that corgi meet organised though. Imagine heaps of corgis all in one place, it would be great. You could try emailing breeders to let them know and they could pass it on to their puppy owners and you could post on dogzonline and gumtree to spread the word :)
  • Teresa Gilpin

You have two really beautiful corgis!  Congratulations on the new addition!!
  • Mim

Hey congrats on the new pup. Where's he from? I love black headed tris, so pretty.
  • Mim

OMG I love Sandi! She bred Sarge and Daina so your new boy is probably related to my guys! Do you know who his parents are? Naw we are corgi family now lol.
