About Me:
I am an RN in Tulsa, OK. I have two beautiful boys Koty and Chase. I have been married for 15 years to the love of my life, Paul. My favorite pastime is hanging out at the lake. My best friend is my stunning Blue Heeler, Cooper, he brings me joy everyday. I am new to Corgi's and I brought home a precious "black-headed tri" boy on April 17, 2009. I have been researching and looking for the perfect pup for a year now. I am not new to herding breeds. We spend lots of time at the farm though at home we have only one acre. We love the lake and my first priority will be to find my new friend a stubby little life jacket so that he can enjoy the boat with the rest of the gang. We have spent a great deal of time in Obedience classes with Coop and plan to continue the tradition with our new little man.

Sounds like a great life is in store for Crosby. I emailed you some new pictures just a minute ago. Cooper is really handsome!
  • Boothill

Welcome! Good luck with your lil guy. :)
  • Tammey & Caven

Hello and welcome. I'll bet you are going to be mighty happy with that new little guy you have there. What a cutie!
  • Sam Tsang

    Welcome to MyCorgi.com!
  • Chris

Welcome to MyCorgo.com. Crosby looks like an angel and Cooper looks like a pretty good guardian.
  • Stephanie & Bonnie Fox

We got Bonnie from a farm in Gladwin, MI. Her name is Darlene Holder, I believe her bon's brother is still for sale. Mom is a red/white and Pop is a black tri.
  • Stephanie & Bonnie Fox

He looks like such a sweet boy! Corgi's are excellent herders! Bonnie tries to herd me and the rest of the family all day! (much to the dismay of the cats) Kabuki actually snuck out the other day as I was letting Bonnie out, it only took a moment and she got him back up the stairs to the back door so I could put him back in.
  • Gail's Lil' Gizmo

Your baby is absolutely beautiful. what gorgeous markings!! Thank you for your comment about Gizmo.. Tanya Taylor, who has a page on this site under Tanya Taylor is where Gizmo came from. . she is located outside Ocala. have a great weekend.
  • Sky and Lyla

Hi! We live in Tulsa too. We should organize a Corgi meetup in Tulsa sometime!
  • Marie Ploof

I would go crazy waiting for him!!
    Haha
  • Marie Ploof

    I love your blue heeler.
  • Sky and Lyla

Sky is an *almost* one year old mini aussie, and he is friends with absolutely everyone, so I'm sure you would get along with your blue heeler! I found Lyla from a breeder in Claremore who has a corgi litter once or twice a year. Her name is Susan Gebhart.

Waiting is so hard, isn't it!? Due to moving at the end of the month, I have decided not to bring her home until the last weekend in April. It's killing me to know that she is ready to come home now (she's 8 weeks today), but I just can't put such a small pup through the stress of moving and readjusting. Just 20 more days! =) Cooper and Crosby are both so cute!
  • Marie Ploof

Haha, yeah once I get out of school i intend to get another corgi and a blue heeler. =]
    I love both breeds.
I"m sure they'll get along fine, dogs are normally good like that.
  • Glendonwyn Welsh Ponies

It's hard to believe they will be leaving soon. There is no shortage of attention for them. My kids adore them. My daughter is getting better about letting them go, but often sheds tears when they leave.
  • Juel

Thank you for your kind words! What beautiful pictures! Congrats on the new puppy! I am trying to figure a way to still get my puppy but the boyfriend doesn't have health insurance. he is applying for some local programs, but if he doesn't qualify.... poof... there goes the corgi money.
  • Carla

Thank you sooo much. Crosby looks like he's gonna look a lot like our Gracie. Cooper is a sweetie too.
  • Sky and Lyla

Yay... Crosby is home! He is a cutie. How are things going?
  • Sky and Lyla

She's coming home on Sunday. I can't wait. Crosby is just precious. They are naughty that young, but they make up for it with cute!!
  • Sky and Lyla

What a precious puppy! They do grow up too fast. Lyla has already gotten so much bigger and I haven't gotten any new pictures of her because I can't figure out which box my camera wass packed in! What does Cooper think of the new brother?
  • Sky and Lyla

No, not Marina, although I do have a co worker who goes there, lol. I was seeing a vet in Sand Springs, who was very nice and helpful, but I think maybe just not up on all the current research and not familiar with my breeds. I am trying out Cedarwood tomorrow with Lyla. I have heard great things about it and if I like it, we'll stick around there for a while.
  • Boo Buchheit

Crosby is a cutie...does that black mask indicate a life of Corgi crime? Puppies are just wonderful though.
  • Angela

He is so cute! Keep the updates coming
  • Sky and Lyla

Sky just adores her. I was pretty sure he would enjoy a playmate though, that's part of the reason I got her. In fact, it's more often that she gets annoyed with him than him with her. =)
  • Marion and Vern

Hey, thanks for the info on the stitches. We were told that we would be given antibiotic as well as pain pills for at home. I'm already worrying about it and it is almost 2 months away. She is starting to settle down a little bit, after only being home for 3 weeks, so maybe she won't be so bouncy by the time she has to be spayed. How are the puppy classes going? Well getting late for me, 4:30 a.m. comes real early. LATER
  • Glendonwyn Welsh Ponies

Thanks so much for the pics. It's amazing how fast they grow. Keep us posted as to how puppy classes go. Give him a hug from us.
  • Gail's Lil' Gizmo

Crosby is beautiful.. so cute!! sounds like you won't have any problem with puppy classes.. enjoy.. Keep updating those pics!!
  • Boothill

Look at the resemblence in the two pups!
  • Angela

You have a beautiful story and family! Enjoy!
  • Boothill

She's 12 pounds...how about yours? We will definitely have to keep comparing pictures with these 2!
  • Sky and Lyla

Awww, love the new pics. Our little guys are growing up so fast!
  • Cooper-n-Crosby

13 lbs today! I was sitting upstairs and was so surprised to see Crosby rounding the top of the stairs. It was his first time to even attempt them and he went all the way to the top! Puppy class is going pretty well. Mr. Crosby has that "I'll be the boss of me attitude."
  • Boothill

How is Crosby doing? I can't believe how much they look alike! Shiloh also has red coming out on the back of her ears and some on her sides, but we lover her anyway!
  • Chris

Crosby's all growin' up! Sometimes I wish they would stay little!
  • Glendonwyn Welsh Ponies

    Hey there,
    How is Crosby doing?
  • Boothill

HI there, Shiloh is growning up also. She is 20 pounds and a real spit fire. She sure hates getting her nails trimmed! Does Crosby hate it too?
  • Boothill

  • Sam Tsang

Hi Rikki, hope this helps, don't take him to the kill shelter, go to the vet and see if you can scan him for a microchip.
  • Jane Christensen

Send Sam a message...he's on top of all kinds of corgi rescues and place...please keep us updated:)
  • Jane Christensen

Ooops...I see he already gave you the info!
