I am married with 2 grown married children, and have empty nest so I got myself a little corgi puppy Sir Corkster Von Sausage Biscuits a.k.a Corky. My daughter Bobbi Jo has a little Bichon poodle mix who is a few months older than Corky, his name is Paddington, and he and Corky love to romp thru the house constantly it is quite amusing. We have 2 horses, both are MO Foxtrotters. My hubby and i own an auto repair business that keeps us very busy. We enjoy travel, boating and skiing.
Corky got a new sister this fall. Her name is Dot she is a lovely English Setter, that truly hated her little dog partners! But we have managed to remove Linda Blair demon from her and now she loves her little brothers! She is my husbands gun dog.
Welsh Corgi Breeder?
No
About My Corgi(s):
Corky was born in Sept of 2008 and was the last little guy left of the litter.
Alaska! Oh, I want to go there someday. I'd like to do the cruise from Vancouver up the coast. I think that way I'll steer clear of the bears and moose!
hi lisa and corky! haha-sausage and biscuits!! austin's official name is Peachtree Farm's Austin Powers of Muffinbutt- only the Muffinbutt didn't fit on the papers so we just add it- i have horsies too- a solid appy gelding named Eddie and a running quarter mare named Asha and a arab/qtr gelding named Zephyr who is 28! and currently being leased by a 9-yr old girl who has brushed the hair off of him (kidding!) i attempt to ride dressage-keep in touch w/ that fairy bank, Corky!
Thays funny Little Return :o),,I have 3 grown children too,and Cooper is my new baby,,kinda getting ready for my mid life crisssses LOL all i need now is my mini cooper car and ill be on my way,,I love photography too ,my photos are on flickr.com under cooperdooper77,,Thanks for commenting back and i'll work on my Daughter for help :o)
i'm so dumb-i put down my "hometown" instead of where i live now!! well, it said "HOMEtown"... duh. yeah, of course we're weird. only weirdos would rather pick up horse poop than go shopping... but we're nice weirdos!! i think Corky the Biscuit Butt is a rather dashing name....;) anyway, about all of us on this site being obsessed w/ our dogs' butts, now that is WEIRD! my friend adds a "middle" name to all her animals, and she thought "Austin Bottom" just went well together, and it stuck. sometimes i would forget and say, "well, i'm going home now to play with my Bottom"...hmmm. no wonder people look @ me funny.... also "isn't my Bottom the cutest thing you ever saw?"
Lisa, thanks for the idea about the picture of a pup in a cowboy boot! I'll remember that one. Funny thing....One of our puppies I sold looks just like yours and she named him "Corky" hmmmmmm
Thansk you so much for you vote,,Im so new to my corgi im sure what kinda chance he has,,well its fun anyway,,,tell your friends too :o) `tina~ and Cooper
Hi Lisa,
I have to tell you we joined My Corgi because of the photo of Corky with the toilet paper rolls. That's NOT a crime in our house - it's a MUST. Wafl loves chewing, and when I first let him have a toilet paper roll, he was delirious. Now all I have to do is say "paper?" and he knows it's time (the rolls is empty) so he can chew it. He has been caught nudging a half-full roll, but I tell him "not yet." He even runs into the bathroom if he hears the clatter of cardboard on the roll dispenser - he knows he's in for a treat. Isn't this just ridiculous? Anyway, I think it means he's very very smart, and I never mind cleaning up after he's torn the roll the shreds.
Ballwin is were i was born,,We live in Labadie Mo. now which is west of St.Louis about a 45 min drive,,In Franklin Co,Just outside of St,Louis County,,,Off highway 44 at the Graysummit exit near Shaws Nature Reserve :o) Thanks for your comment's
Hope you had a good time in snowy Mo. lol Yes lots of soldiers their,,my son was in basic training their and during his AIT we went every weekend :o),,Hows your new Horse?? now its sunny and 65 :o)
Thats to funny,,:o) When we went to get Cooper my sons girlfriend came with me and my Daughter and all the way home she sang Low Rider,,So i added it to his Name,,,,,Funny about your shoe's...Not realy,,My Flip Flops have no toe stap's..lol and if you know anyone with one foot i can hook them up LOL,I shut all rooms off to Coop that could cost me a arm and a leg when i get home,,,Today a pair of moccasans were left out and he left them alone,,Good Cooper doo,,,,Cooper tells Corky WOOF :o)
You aren't going to believe this, but our LoLo was also born September of 2008!! WHERE DID YOU GET YOUR'S? we met the breeder in Oklahoma, but I need to look at her papers to see where she was born. Too funny! LoLo weighs about 7 lbs right now. she is super active and doesn't eat very much, too worried she will miss out on playing with our other outside dogs!!
The puppies were born very, very small. We lost a few the first 24 hours. We were bottle feeding them every 2 hours, but it just didn't work. The last one passed away 2 weeks later (thought it might just make it) but no. We have one puppy that made it and he is very healthy. He was 2X the size of all the other pups!
Lisa, we won't be having puppies until Feb/March of 2011! Just spayed my one female and the pup has too be 2 years old be breed...one more year to go!

Hi Lisa, thank you for your message, i think i know what you mean now. It is a little tricky with forum threads, because some member reply to what other member already responded, that's why it is displayed in a chronological order. However, if you want to know the latest reply on the topic, click on "latest reply", it'll take you to the latest comment.
Chronological orders also allow the repliers to check out what's been said already and not repeat the same information. May be you have a better suggestion? Let me know :)
Were did you get you Pem from and who is the breeder? That would tell me if it came from mine or not. Cardigans come in more colors then the Pembrokes. There are black and white, black and brindle, black and tan, blue merles with tan or brindle points, brindles from red to black, sables, and red and whites. It is quite fascinating!
