It really is a great place for dogs (anytype) and you can still go to the picnics. They are hosted by Vicki and the AZ Cactus Corgi Rescue (where I got Sam)

Haha They are really easy. Only thing is most corgi's are talkers but smart as crap. You will love them.

Hahaha, I love your poopster crate! I see a lobster toy! And aww, thanks! I am totally jelly of your amazingly beautiful blue merle. She's stunning. And you only have 2 more weeks to go! How exciting! Clearly Chezza needs more toys. ;) Can't wait to see more Chezza pictures. I never get enough cardigan submissions!

 

Who is your breeder? A cardigan is next for us! Pudge is coming home on the 23rd. I'm in the process of moving. We are picking up Pudge on our way out of the state! 

We are going to start seriously looking into breeders in about a year. It will be my boo's corgi, so he gets to pick out which color he wants. Even though he knows my vote is go blue. :)

My breeder is Molly of Keepsake Corgis in Grand Rapids, MI. She's insanely busy too. If I didn't live within driving distance, I'd be living off of a photo every 2-3 weeks. It is definitely a little frustrating, even more so for you when you live so far away! But I lucked out in that she's very responsive to email. I asked her like 3 billion questions and she answered them all, always, within a day. She texts me short status reports or pictures, I think that's really cute. My breeder and I text each other. So strange! I totally consider her as a friend now, so that's cool.

But yeah, if I couldn't meet the breeder and they weren't responsive, I'd have a big problem with that. You didn't have to fill out an application or anything? I had a 55 question application! AND I have to sign a contract! 

And for food -- I have NO idea. I didn't get that far, but it's a damn good question. Vallhunds are cool dogs, but finding a breeder I imagine is even harder than finding a cardigan breeder! So rare!

you have no idea how loud i screeched when i was checking my tumblr messages in the restaurant and I saw Chezza!!! i am so happy for you! so excited to see more of her! :) :) :) :) :)

He's awesome, he gets bored because my other dog is super old and doesn't want to play with him so he chews on everything. What's weird is he hardly ever barks, he just makes little pig noises, it's adorable.

Me too. Chezza has gorgeous eyes, I'm jealous. :D
I thought Octavian had blue eyes from the pictures, I guess I should have asked the breeder,haha.

You're lucky. ^-^ I get sad when I see cardis with blue eyes now, but I still love Octavian, blue eyes or not.
