Welsh Corgi Breeder?
No
About My Corgi(s):
I have a 9 month old Pembroke Welsh Corgi named Emmy. She is very unique with a black and brown eyepatch and black spots all over her white body. Very cute. Emmy has a great personality and is such a fast learner. She really knows how to do what her mommy tells her.
Welcome, You will absolutely love this site. You learn so much from everyone here and you feel like family. Hope you enjoy and congratulations on your new baby!!
Welcome Suneera and Emmy. You're both adorable. I love Emmy's markings. Reminds me of the dog from an old old TV series, "Our Gang." You're too young to have seen it, and I'm too old to remember Spanky's dog's name, with the black patch over one eye!
If I had it to do over again, I'd be much more organized, deliberate and compulsive about training. I'd make a logbook, list all commands. plan my work, work my plan, make sure I did a little every day. This investment will pay off handsomely. 'specially with such a cute puppy.
I've posted some stuff here on "emergency recall", or google "really reliable recall". We had success with this without a whole lot of effort. It works. For the emergency (not routine) recall, pick a "magic word" that the dog NEVER hears in casual conversation (we picked "venite", Latin/Italian for "come"). You can buy the $10 booklet, the $30 DVD, or simply get the details online for free.
Your puppy is soooo adorable!! I love her markings especially the half of her face that is tri colored and the other parts are a gorgeous milky white :) Do you know what the parents looked like? From your pictures it seems as if all the puppies had white on them and they're Pembroke corgis...All I've ever seen were tri and red Pembrokes.
