- Just got my first dog ever, a little corgi mix! I am a bit overwhelmed, so any words of encouragement are welcome!!

- Poppy (nickname: Nubbins because of her lack of tail and nub the goes crazy whenever she is excited) is your typical puppy-ish corgi. Since she was a stray, no one knows exactly how old she is, but the vet said around a year and she definitely still has puppy tendencies such as whining and a horrible separation anxiety bark as well as always wanting to be right on top of me on the couch and in bed. We are working on EVERYTHING! She would be considered a "shy dog" as she is scared of EVERYTHING but she is getting a lot better about most things in such a short time, which is great. She gets along well with other dogs (more so then people!) and she LOVES car rides!

Absolutely! There was no helping it and it definitely is good to hear that she was such a good girl. :) Ellie would probably wiggle free in her attempts to sniff everything!
