I work and live in the Marine community of South Florida. I grew up on a farm in Northern Illinois and have had dogs most of my life. My significant other once owned a Cardigan, so talked me into a Corgi, it has been one our best choices.

He is Lord Admiral Horatio Nelson's Poopdeck, he is a fawn, neutered male born June of '09. He likes tearing up toys, annoying the cat, and boat rides. 2016 we acquired our second Corgi,a female red-headed tri-color,Holly Berry. She was born in December and Holly quite a character.

    Well, hello! I am also from Illinois, and grew up in the NW suburbs. My brothers went to Libertyville HS in the 1980's. Nutmeg, Cinnamon and I live in Hollywood, and often go to Snyder Park to swim in the lake, or to Hollywood Beach on the weekends! My girls LOVE boat rides. Nutmeg more than Cinnamon. Nutty is going to be 2 in September, and Cinny will be 1 in September. Perfect age to play together!

    Ah yes, computer troubles. Computers are such wonderful things when they are working correctly! Depending on the sort of computer you have and your video needs, a basic video card for a PC can cost as little as $12 and can be amazingly simple to install, even for the non-geek. Or, like some folks do, find a 15 year old nerd and he'll do it all for you in about 10 minutes!

    Yup, video cards are much cheaper on-line. Just check Yahoo or Google "Shopping" for "video card" and you'll come up with lots to choose from and a wide price range.

    Nutty likes to swim at Snyder. Cinnamon has swam there, but much prefers land. We also like to go to Hollywood Beach on weekends- where they allow the dogs on the beach for a limited time. That isa great time!

    Actually, I think (s)he has the look of a very self-satisfied dog, proud of his work!

    Every time I look at this photo it makes me giggle.

    Ricky-Rafa, my corgi, knew enough to make himself scarce when he destroyed sofas!

    Did you ever see that video where the owner says in an unhappy voice, "who did this?"

    There are 3 dogs on the steps and 2 of them immediately turn their heads toward the 3rd, who slinks away with his head down.

    Poop and Poodeck are both great names to be calling loudly in public.  I'll have  to be similarly creative when naming my next dog. On second thought, my next dog will be a rescue, so I may be stuck with what it comes with (shudder).
