  • Scott+Nicola+Brody

Soooo! Did you meet the dog who was in your area?

  • Scott+Nicola+Brody

Thats a shame on your part but you are right in saying... it's good he found a home!

  • Scott+Nicola+Brody

True.... you can have a dog who wants to out run you! :P

  • Scott+Nicola+Brody

Yeah? that's sad! Are there any gated dog parks in your area...

  • Sidney and Angie

i know what you mean, every time i see a dog on the street i just to get it in my house.lol.

i am truly a dog lover.

i heard corgis were part hunting from my aunt.she was a vet.

they hunt things like rats and rabbits and pretty much anything their size to protect the home and or farm.

i just started to teach angie agility.she is a quick learner!

i set up a couple logs and put a board over top of the logs and had her jump over them.

  • Scott+Nicola+Brody

oh... I am actually looking at exercise pens atm.... maybe you should consider one too!

  • Sidney and Angie

yeah,i am thinking about getting Angie into agility. by the way,do you know if you can enter a runt in agility competition?

  • Scott+Nicola+Brody

how is the hunt for a doggie going?

  • Mary and Pearl

Aaah!  I know.  It's so easy to get sucked in.  I've heard awesome things about the games you listed~  I found myself jumping when a streetlight went out on my way home one night and was sure the darkness from Alan Wake was on its way to eat me D:  I haven't played very much in a while, but I did get Just Dance 3 today for some exercise, haha.  Hope you've been well!

  • Scott+Nicola+Brody

wow! good thing your not in cali! i think i spent a little more than that..

my vet bills were more extensive but.... i think that should be a good starter.. :)

  • Scott+Nicola+Brody

Yeah... we are moving to AZ soon and excited for the non ridiculous prices!

VCA is the most afforable vet imo since they have one pretty much everywhere so it's good if your the roadtripping type traveling with your furry friend!

  • Sidney and Angie

    hi Kimberly,

    guess what!

when i get my film developed i get pics of Angie!

so i get to post them soon.

by the way i forgot to ask,do you like bicolor or tricolor corgis best?

or does it not matter what color they are

  • Scott+Nicola+Brody

I have 12 days to go before I get to go to pick up Brody! I am pretty stoked.

But I know what you mean..about being excited about it...been there...done that! ::P

Keep in mind with moving countries... visa's etc... I am still in the process of mine..

I can tell you.. that's a lot of money and work in itself! :P

  • Sidney and Angie

    hi kimberly,

    how ya been?

    anything new?

  • Sidney and Angie

    i have been great.
i took angie with me down to my friends house, while my brother and i have fun, angie has fun playing with their pitbull.

  • Sidney and Angie

just to let you know, I have been working on Angies training. she knows:sit, lay down, jump up,get down, and i sometimes tell her kennel and she goes into her kennel.

  • Manda and Chloe

well i think once you bring one home he will be overcome with the corgi fever too...lol.

  • Sidney and Angie

i see one of your favorite songs on your play list is diary of jane.

    i love that song!

  • Scott+Nicola+Brody

Hey Kim, do you still have that link of that breeder in Oregon?

  • Scott+Nicola+Brody

Lol yeah... to be honest... ever since my husband and I had Bailey.....ALL our friends wanted one... and ALL who are leaving the military this year... are looking into getting one!! :P

Expanding your search zone is not a problem...just make sure they will keep in contact with you  in case something goes wrong with your puppy!

as for my friend.. he's from the portland area... perhaps.. if you stumble across one you can pass it along to me! haha he reaaaaaaaally wants one as soon as he gets out of the navy! lol

  • Scott+Nicola+Brody

    Thanks for the recommendations!

I hope he finds a match!

  • Manda and Chloe

aww...i got lucky and rescued a puppy, but even though she was a puppy she has her problems. but she is my little princess for sure

  • Alison Prasavath

I should let you know when we come over to Lincoln City and then our boys could meet. Noodles is very laid back as well and prefers nice calm dogs. He does love digging in the sand and remains far away from the ocean. I'm so happy for you and your husband.

  • Sidney and Angie

    DID YOU GET A CORGI!?

    that is so cute!

  • Sidney and Angie

    so that's Ziggy?how cute!

    i feel bad now:(

would you mind trying to join again?

  • Lois B. Allen

Kimberly,  Ziggy is such a sweet looking boy.  You are going to be having such a good time.  Enjoy.

  • Lois B. Allen

Thanks for the comment on randy. We had a grooming session today and he wasn't too happy with me but he looks some better.  the trouble with the fluffys  is some tangling but he is a joy if I am not pulling his hair.

  • Alison Prasavath

Here at work, I can't send a message to your in-box, so I'll leave you a comment. Tomorrow doesn't work for my husband, but Noodles and I will still be out jogging at our normal time. I don't get home from work until 4:30, so we don't make it down to Crossler until after that, but that is where we go jogging every day after work.I hope you guys find a place out South still so Noods and Ziggy can be friends.

Shasta was 3 years old and it didn't sound like they've had him for too long. Their current goal was to get him down to 35 pounds because he is currently at 43. Shasta was very pleasant and Noodles liked him.

  • Emma C.

Haha thanks! Ziggy is super cute, too! :)

  • Emma C.

OH, for sure! That sounds so cute! :)

  • Alison Prasavath

What a sad name for Ziggy...I like Ziggy. I think he is just a doll. How did the house hunting go today? You should have seen Noods yesterday. My husband got a bike and decided to ride his bike while Noods and I jogged. Noodles pulled me all the way to Crossler (yes, an arm work out) and then he took off running once we arrived. He was so tired by the end of our 2 laps because he was trying to keep up with my husband. He looked so cute running along side of David and Noods kept looking up at him from time to time. Too cute. A good run/jog/bike ride was had by all (and Noodles fell asleep early last night).

  • Sidney and Angie

im posting a pic of angie!!!!!!
  • Mary and Pearl

That's a handsome fellow you have there!  :)  Hope you've both enjoyed your time together~~

  • WhiteDove

Thanks for your comment. I am having so much fun with all these little critters. They definitely keep me on my toes. Today they spent most of their time outside chasing leaves and barking at the wind. They are hilarious to watch.

    Have a wonderful weekend.

  • Sidney and Angie

    oh,thats right,your moving.cool!where to?
  • Mary and Pearl

    It worked out perfectly :)

  • Karen Hickey

Thank you. The site looks great.
  • Alison Prasavath

Did you guys move? We still need to find a time for all of us and our boys to meet.

  • Alison Prasavath

I'm guessing you are talking Riverfront park. Down by Gilbert House, the dinner ship, etc. If that is the case, Noodles and I have walked around there from time to time. What do you think about Saturday if it doesn't rain? I'll try and convince my husband to join us, but I won't bother asking him if Saturday won't work for you guys. Just let me know. I would love to meet Ziggy and have Ziggy meet Noodles.

  • Melissa and Franklin!

Hey thanks Kymii, this is actually right near me. I have a young corgi I am going to meet this weekend but if he doesn't work out I'll look into this guy (if he is still available, there are currently 3 people posting on craigslist looking for corgis). Since he bites small dogs I doubt he will be ok with cats and my brother has a chihuahua so that may not be good, but definitely worth looking into!

  • Alison Prasavath

Wait until you have had Ziggy for a while. Trust me, he should start going corgi crazy in just a little bit. I know I'm crazy for corgi's, but my husband is getting there as well. He loves when we see another corgi. He is a delivery driver and he has met corgi's while making deliveries. He shares stories about Noodles to them and vice versa. He then comes home to tell me all about the corgi he met (smile). I mentioned Saturday and my husband said "okay". If he doesn't want to come, I'm sure my mom will join me. Just let me know what you guys decide and if it doesn't rain, we will finally get to meet.

  • Melissa and Franklin!

this is a picture of the corgi. I'm meeting him either Friday or Saturday. A tri male pembroke. He hasn't been neutered yet but is getting that done on Wednesday. Will be interesting trying to keep a pup calm (he's about 10 months) for a week to let him heal. It certainly is frustrating and stressful searching for another dog. If I didn't have cats I think it'd be much easier but many adult corgis in rescue either don't get along with cats or don't like dogs. Its really sad/frustrating. I was starting to consider not even getting a corgi until I stumbled across this guy. Can't wait to meet him! He sounds like a great little guy and just what I'm looking for, but who knows if what the rescue says is actually true.

  • Alison Prasavath

No problem. It will probably rain anyways and we don't want to meet in the rain. We will find a time to meet up with each other. Enjoy the birthday party!
