I am the owner of Mrs. Wiley Quixote, our beautiful red headed tri colored corgi puppy. She is from Poso Creek Puppies where the best corgi breeder is! Parents Sweet Opals Paris and Gilby What a Rockstar. My name is Priscilla and Quixotes daddy is Daniel, my husband. We love her to death, as she has been one of the greatest companions anyone could ask for. She goes everywhere with us from the beach in southern california, to snowy days in big bear and swimming though the beautiful cascade lakes of oregon.
Welsh Corgi Breeder?
No
About My Corgi(s):
Quixote was born June 1st 2010 from posocreekpuppies. She is a tri colored baby. She is spunky, energetic, kind hearted and incredibly smart. She constantly finds ways to outsmart us and has a natural herding ability, although shes never been trained to herd yet. She did enjoy a couple of years in agility classes at zoom room in southern california. She is the most loving puppy ever! Also incredibly spoiled!
Her favorite things to do are going to the dog beach, hiking, and using acrobatics to balance on furniture to try to reach for food. She is an attention hog and loves massages almost more than treats.
She is also a meticulous and orderly pup, she notices if something is out of the ordinary or not where its suppose to be, and will bark until its moved. She also enjoys her part time job herding up dogs at the dog park and breaking up any fights or aggression she spots there.
However our favorite thing to do in our spare time, is to cuddle up and take a nap. : )
Oh, definitely! We haven't gone to the park as regularly lately but it's fun to meet up with lots of corgis. There's one corgi who looks just like Steve (size, color, build) so I found myself calling the wrong one few times...lol. Once the ground is not so soggy we'll be visiting the park. See you there!
Priscilla, how is everything going? We got our newest addition Bomber and well at first things were a little bumpy to say the least. After all it is a big adjustment for Sami, she was the only baby for 17 months then BAM baby. I believe the 3 day car ride back home helped, as they were in the back seat together. From then on it has gotten better and better each day. The difference in personalities is amazing to watch. Bomber is the opposite of Samantha in so many ways.
Your pictures are wonderful 58 & 59 are among my favorites. Although 62-68 looks a lot like Bomber! Well have to get to work but wanted to update you on adding the second pup, it has been great for everyone.
toast is on the right! He shares a father with your Quixote! His sire is Gilby, but i forget who the mother is. Your corgi is gorgeous! its so fun see what Toast might look lik when he grows up! We are picking him up from Kim in two weeks :)
We didn't really have a plan for Big Bear. Highway 330 collapsed a not to long before our trip, so we took the 38 up and just pulled over at a turn out when we saw a good place to play. Afterward we drove through town, had lunch, then drove back on the 18. I did see a few spots in town that looked better than where we pulled off, but I couldn't tell you where they were...just noticed them as we drove by. You shouldn't have a problem finding a place.
Also, the day we went up they were stopping traffic and requiring chains or 4x.
Actually funny you should mention that. Bowser is like almost identical in size. He also still has puppy size head too. Im sure its because they are still puppies, i was told they would reach full growth potential until they are 1 and a half. Not sure if that is true but he is definitely filling out in the body area.
We rehomed Rafa-Ricky, so little is known about his breeder other than the name Rockstar Corgi. I phoned them several times when we first got him and they never returned a call. I know nothing at all about his pedigree.
Quixote is a little beauty and I'm flattered at the comparison to Ricky. I see a lot of resemblance, too. Ricky is quite the character but he is a love. He is so gentle with children and babies. He would be great with a houseful of children, but he'll have to wait until we get grandkids!
Lucy is not a jumper at all. She's much smaller than Rafa/Ricky, yet she is able to jump on the sofa with ease, while he sometimes struggles bec. he's so lanky. Lucy does not like kids much, nor does she like standing on her hind legs. He can stand on his hind legs all day. If he grows another inch he'll be opening doors. He tries everyday to turn the knob when he can't push he way through the door. But, he is so gentle with children and especially babies. He is so tender and careful with them. My experience has always been that the boys are more nurturing of my human babies. Lucy was very jealous when we rehomed him at 4 mo. old. He was the craziest corgi pup we've ever had, but luckily he didn't have an aggressive bone in his body. Lucy remained top dog and that's what made this pairing work. He tortures her every day to play with him, and more and more she agrees. She really likes him now and it's been great for both of them.
That's so funny that Quixote has Rockstar in his AKC name. They really look like siblings. Too bad I know nothing about Rafa's ancestry. We have much more in common. My middle dgt. is in medical school, and my oldest dgt. graduated UCLA Law last year. We need to have a playdate! If you ever find yourself in Orange County you must bring Quixote here. Maybe we could meet up at a W. LA corgi day.
Hey Sister Q. Bowsiepants sends his Arooooo! then wants to be walked outside haha. yeah i havent posted photos in awhile he is fairly big now and is about the same size it appears as your Q. I will try to get some photos up maybe next saturday after we go to the Corgi Meet at Shoreline =D.
thanks! Prie isn't home for a while... she's still shy of 3 days old and will come home the first week of May at 8 weeks :) but I will put the puppy pics of her as they roll in from the breeder on here soon!
Hiii!! Thanx for inviting us to the West side Corgi meet up's. We've had a busy month. Conan is taking his last stage of obedience training classes every Sunday. Once he's done were excited to meet up with everyone!! =) Can't wait!!
Hey There Sista Q. So I uploaded some recent photos of Bowser and "Our" Brother Bacon, same parents different liter. Now you can compare sizes and see if we are growing up the same. Arrrroooooo.
Hey no Bacon actually belongs to one of my friends. But Bacons parents are also Gilby and Paris, so he is our doggies brother from a different litter. hope Q is having a great time down there, and bowser gives you and the fams a warm ARoooooo!
Hey there - yup, I'm hoping to get a red/white puppy from one of her upcoming litters. Quixote is adorable! Just browsing thru your pics and saw your fire hydrant/grass potty pad. Where did you get it? Is it effective for your pup? I'll be a first-time dog owner - so need to learn all about potty training! :)
We met you @ Corgi Fun Day yesterday! Our dog is Shaq. His brother, Kobe , was very smitten with your Quixote @ the end of the day! Here's a pic og Kobe and Quixote!
We rescued Ricky-Rafa at 16 wks. He was originally purchased from Rockstar Corgi and when the new owners couldn't handle him, Rockstar wouldn't take him back. He was then listed on Craigs list, and a mycorgi member told about him. He was whelped 3.20.10 from Cody Front and Center X Sweet Opal Pickles.
The all-time difficult Corgi (and I've owned corgis my whole life!). Good thing we rehomed him. He's my Romeo now. It took a year to work the kinks out. But we adore him. He just had an ACL repair. Nice to know health history.

Quixote isn't the only cutie in the family. I just saw a photo of you and your fiance!
I see Quixote with a red and white pem and another tri. Are they just buddies or do you have more than one corgi now?
