Sammie is 4months old and was rescued from the humane society. My mother adopted her sister and the are both Labrador/corgi mix. I have yet to know how big she will be but she is the sweetest and smartest dog I have met. She's very mellow and within 2 weeks of owning her we trained her how to sit and lay down and being potty trained. Shes a character and is very attached to my other dog Milo who is a chihuahua mix. Sammie is very lovable and out to please.
Sammie you are a doll! There are a lot of great groups on Mycorgi; check out Rescued Corgis, Corgi Mix, and Honorary Corgis just to start. Then there are groups for the area you live and groups like Corgi Photographers and Awkward Little Sleepers that are just fun!
We're not sure what Peanut is (boy) but he has the face like a beagle and he's grown so much that he now reaches the Corgis but his legs are longer of course. . . .lol
Sammie sounds like a sweet fun loving dog. I grew up with a black Lab and then a yellow Lab and now we have the two corgis (our first). I imagine that is a wonderful mix!!! She's very cute!
Thanks so much, we are heading over there on the 22nd. I will let her know. We are really enjoying spending the winter in Florida. The boys like the beach, took them awhile to understand the waves. At home they spend their time in a lake, no waves and it tastes better
Zin was about 6 yrs when he blew his back(hind) left knee. I saw he limping first - it took 3 months before he would limp for anyone else and then during a dental did the test that confirmed he blew it. I 'm sorry I don't remember what they called his surgery but basically they drilled a hole his leg and using fishing line to hold it all together. He has done really well. He is now 13 1/2 yrs old and still chases sticks, balls, and Frisbees- though he doesn't jump as high anymore. We started Cosequen right after the surgery then moved up to Dasequen when he was diagnosed with arthritis in his hips. WE switched to Duralactin and Adequan in the last couple of years. Plus he gets Previcox( very low dose) should we be more active than normal. I just bought a horse trough to begin to do water therapy in the basement this winter. Want to do all I can to help keep him a mobile as possible!!!

There are corgi breeders on the east side of the Cascades. http://mycorgi.com/profile/Tracey75 I think there's a breeder near Cle Elum.

Ours came from Carrie Hale. My neighbor has a lovely dog from Teresa Blakstad in Sandpoint.
