About My Corgi(s):: We got Mandy on June 9th, 2007...she is 11 years old now and she changed our lives forever. She is such a little sweet girl and we love her so much. Mandy is spoiled rotten. Mandy is a tri-color Corgi and is beautiful. Mandy is our first Corgi. Mandy was born May 4th, 2007.

Buttercup is taking it hard still. Wants to look for her puppies, plus she can hear Muffin's puppies time to time. You can tell she is really down, we you go to love her up she just snuggles up as close as she can and doesn't want to move. But we were able to move or Ted E into her area again without her getting upset.

Hey Lori - Thanks for the sweet comment about Brynn :) We went to Mt.Saint Helens last week and took in the view and let Brynn play in the snow .She has a lot of fun :)
This Friday were off to the coast again to watch storms roll in and maybe catch a whale swimming bye.
How is little Mandy doing ? Any plans for the weekend ?

Hi! Generally speaking, you should change to adult food at one year. I would start mixing them at 11 months and then you're ready for all adult.

well, we got some sleet for only 1 day. little bear decided that sleet is icky and he misses making yellow snow, haha! we were all wrapped up in blankets and ready for the 6 inches of snow and then BOOM! it was 65 degrees outside in the morning... we were way confused... i had to readjust my outfit for our morning walk to capris haha! did you get any snow?

oh little bear would live outside if i would stay with him! he LOOOOVES the cold! the first time he ever saw it, mama threw snowballs at him and he kicked some on me, it was priceless... it's looking pretty clear here, we were all bummed. any snow coming your way yet?

i was just reading back over my comments about little bear maybe getting parvo from brian the pit/boxer... i hadn't looked at that since i wrote it i was so sad till now. your comment made me smile, cause its true. brian was spoiled like little bear was for 3 hours, and those were probably the best 3 hours of his life.

i'm so sorry to read about linda mae. we just lost a 15 year old corgi in our family, but he was very old.

there are some very, very sad dog deaths, but aren't we lucky to have our crazy babies we have now? haha how would we ever stay insane without them?

your mandy is still beautiful and i don't know about her, but little bear still misses the snow, haha!!!

and yes, bear did get a new sister! she's a funny girl, but she looks after him like crazy, i'll have to write a post about the straight up-twilight zone bond those two have... its WEIRD haha!

swimming = not so much. i now call him my DIVA!!! i put him on a floatie (like the ones you lay out on and tan) and he does the corgi ARR ROO ROO (right in my EAR!!!) until i pull him around the pool. and i just let him sit on that and go around... ah, to be a puppy in a pool...

he smiles non-stop when he's in the water, just so long as he doesn't have to swim! lol at least his sister isn't with him, lol!!!

Thanks so much! I just keep thinking of happy memories and that is helping me not be too sad while he's still here. I dont want him to remember me sad you know...Also in almost every photo I look at I can see him looking back at me through there eyes so that helps too

Thanks for the support it really helps. I go through spurts where I cry so hard I shake and then other times I can talk about him and I am fine..its confusing and hard but the support really helps!

As each day goes by I am starting to focus more on happy memories. The tears are still there but my heart is healing. My father thinks if he doesnt think about it it will go away. I keep begging him to talk about him and come on here for support...Thanks again

Hey we are hanging in there. I have been watching old videos of him and looking at photos. I also got some books on pet loss. So the tears are still falling but some are happy tears, because he really was a funny and wierd dog! I loved him and still love him so much!

Mandy looks similar to my Snickers, though he is a bit smaller, leaner. He is a corgi/mix...so he may get the leanness from his mystery daddy. :O) She's beautiful, and so sorry to hear about her sister. I can't imagine what your poor mother went through. God Bless her.

My dogs eat Blue Buffalo Brand chicken and brown rice. You can only get it at Petsmart and Petco. They really love it. My friends female corgi had crystals and she eats it also. She got the stones from giving her tablets so when she urinates the grass doesn't turn yellow. She had to have surgery, but she is fine now.
