About Me:: My name is Tracie and I live in Greece, NY.. a suburb of Rochester. My dog and I are members of the Rochester Small Dog Playgroup, and I am also on the Monroe County dog park committee. My corgi (Emmy) and I do agility at a local facility, and plan to start learning flyball in the near future.

About My Corgi(s):: Emmy is a "sweet clown". She loves to snuggle and is very attentive, which is her sweet side. Her other side is the goofy side. She loves to play, (FRAP), swim, run in the snow, and anything else she can come up with to make people laugh. She is extremely outgoing, and expects everyone to fall in love with her at first sight. She is also very smart and does well at obedience and agility - which we do just for fun.

Hey Tracie, the roomba 500 series are awesome, (don't get the older series) it helps a lot during the shedding season, also you may want to think about a Furminator as well, best grooming tool hands down. you can get them at the online store to your right, it should have the cheapest price :)

Thank you. Ritz is a Pembroke Welsh Corgi and is red/white in colour. He has a narrow white blaze on his head with a red patch on top of his head.

Things are going extremely well. He is finding his way with the others and I think we made a very good choice. I love having a puppy around the house. I have the little green clean machine standing at the ready, but have only needed to use it once!

You are most welcome. I agree with you about being prejudice. I'm like that too. Whenever I see dogs along the roads/neighbourhood as I'm walking my Ritz, I find him the most good-looking dog..lol. Ritz can be very naughty (behaves like an angel on rare occassions) but I love him all the same. :o)

Emmy is a doll too. I just love it when they tilt their heads to listen to you. It looks like she likes to pose for pictures too. I just mention the word camera and Mojo starts posing, he's a real ham.

Hi Tracie and Emmy! Thank you for the comments. Emmy is such a beautiful girl who I bet is as sweet as she looks. :) I am very excited to scoop my little guy up and hold him for the first time, and bring him home of course! I'm sure my index finger will get carpal tunnel with all the pictures I'll be taking when he gets here hehehe. He has been changing every week, even more so especially these past two weeks. Looks like March 22 will be the day, sigh...it seems so far.

The cats are pretty smart... they stay up high on the back of the couches, the kitchen table, etc. They can tolerate being in the same room with her now, but they don't want to be down on her level yet. As long as they're not stressed out and upset by her, I'll be happy with that. Now, keeping her away from their food is a different story!

Corgi Capers suggested I "talk" to you and throw some ideas at you that my nonprofit is working on to get a dog park in my area.

Thaks for looking at my picutes. Did Emmy have black on her face when she was a pup? I'm assuming that Brodie will finish as a red face, but you never know. If Brodie turns out as beautiful as Emmy I'll be thrilled. Cute picture with the stuffed Corgi! The head tilt is precious!

Our Lizzies markings never changed from the time she was a puppy. she has so much black all over. I don't know that I have ever seen one like her. He under coat is very light. The backs of Brodie's ears are starting to turn red, thats why I think her face will change. He body is such a dark black and hi puppy coat doesn't have a light undercoat at all. It just fun watching the changes and trying to guess what she will look like.

What a beautiful girl! I think agility is so fun to watch. I have a friend who has her two corgis in obedience. Tucker's half-brother, Cartman is especially a joy to watch. He is so in tune with her. The FRAPing is great! You never know what can set them off.

Hi Tracie Thanks for your Comments! I love your tri Emmy. When I was picking out Bama, her brother was a gorgeous tri and I hesitated for a spit second but finally I made my choice (win win either way). Emmy has the best curious look ever. How could you not fall in love with that??

yes very excited! I found myself packing some things for the three hour trip to the breeder's house ALREADY!!!!!! And I had to remind myself that I had TWO WEEKS to go!!! =*) Can't wait. I'll get some video and pictures up as soon as I can.. but who knows maybe he'll melt my heart so much that I'd just a be a pile of mush and unable to go on to the internet.... hahha!

ooo and what type of ball is it?!?! just a regular dodge ball - or those really light rubber type ones they sell at the store all stocked up in those net cages (the ones that little kids end up taking out and bouncing them throughout the store)?
