About Me:
My name is Tracie and I live in Greece, NY.. a suburb of Rochester. My dog and I are members of the Rochester Small Dog Playgroup, and I am also on the Monroe County dog park committee. My corgi (Emmy) and I do agility at a local facility, and plan to start learning flyball in the near future.

About My Corgi(s):
Emmy is a "sweet clown". She loves to snuggle and is very attentive, which is her sweet side. Her other side is the goofy side. She loves to play, (FRAP), swim, run in the snow, and anything else she can come up with to make people laugh. She is extremely outgoing, and expects everyone to fall in love with her at first sight. She is also very smart and does well at obedience and agility - which we do just for fun.

Emmy's 1st day of Doggie Daycare = 1 tired Corgi!!

Today was Emmy's first full day at Doggie Daycare. Her "teachers" said she had a great time. There are two other corgi's there, and I am told that Emmy loves to herd the other dogs around all day. She is totally exhausted right now... I sort of feel bad but I know she had a blast... how pathetic is this sleepy picture... Poor baby. She'll sleep well tonight!… Continue

Emmy is in 5th place!

Friday is the last day to vote for the most loveable pet in Rochester, and Emmy is currently in 5th place out of over 230 entires! Thank you to all of my buddies at mycorgi that have voted for her!! We still have a chance to place in the top three with a few more "5 paw" votes!! Emmy says she will owe you all a BIG favor if you vote for her! :-)

Emmy needs votes in a local cutest pet contest

Certainly no pressue at all, but Emmy is entered into a local loveable pet contest being conducted on ROCpets.com, which is an animal lovers webpage for the Rochester, NY newspaper The Democrat and Chronicle, and we need some more votes to get into the top three! (We are currently in 9th place out of over 200 entries - not too shabby!)

Boom Towne does have a small dog playgroup - I haven't been to it yet. It costs something like $10 per visit so over the long term it isn't cheap, although they do have an annual membership I need to check out! I am also going to check out the Rochester Small Dog Playgroup. That sounds like fun. Max and I would love to do a play date sometime!

I was wondering - where do you go for agility and where does the Rochester Small Dog Playgroup meet? Max and I go to Boom Towne in Farmington for agility.
