The rains seems to have moved off and they are only calling for clouds on Saturday so the picnic is still on!!!

Hello everyone, I just wanted to touch base with you all and give you a heads up on what has been going on.
I have been watching the weather closely and it has not been looking good. There is a chance I may have to cancel the picnic this year due to rain and flooding. Friday I will be going out to inspect the park and see what it exactly looks like, fortunately our area is on a hill so I am hoping it won't be too bad. But I have seen the weather go from low 50s and storms to upper 60s and showers in the evening so I am hoping that the system will track off into another day. But if they are talking rain and/or storms on the day of the picnic I will make the call to cancel it this Saturday.
Please check back here and spread the word that there is the possibility of a cancellation!

Yes, October 13, 1-5 at the Jefferson County Dog Park (where it has been the last few years).

Is there a 2018 picnic in the works? If so, what is the date? I'm not on Facebook/Twitter/Instagram, etc.

We had a great time at the Corgi Picnic again this year.

Wynne & Will were exhausted by the time we got home to Champaign - about 10:30 pm.  They slept a lot the next day and I hardly got off the couch!

Thanks to all the organizers!

My family will be there as well as our three Corgi's.  We will be heading up from central Illinois.

Hi Stephanie, I am glad you enjoyed the videos.  When I saw what happened at about 8:30 into the video, I laughed out loud.  Poor guy, didn't realize what happened. We had so much fun, so grateful that this event is so close to us!
