Myles was born Dec 1995. He is very active for his age, but loves his relaxing time as well. I saw Myles as a pup and fell in love with his smile and big ears. I will never be without a corgi.

Sheldon has the adoption date of May 9, 2009. We will use that day as his 3rd birthday. We rescued him from Lakeshore Corgi Rescue. He is very smart and playful. His Papillon sister and kitty sister love to tease him so that he chaeses.

I was outside pulling weeds, when Sheldon my new corgi disappeared into the long grass next door. I saw the tops of the weeds moving as he made his way through the tall weeds. Then, I heard a squeal. I called Sheldon's name, and he came running. When he found his way out of the tall weeds, he got a smile on his face, and a sparkle to his eyes as he brought me a live bunny. Life without our Myles

It has been a long sad ride to recovery. I look for Myles almost every day. I know he is in a better place, but it does not make things easier. Our Papillon, Madison, is having a really hard time. She still looks for him all the time. She is not resting well. She hops from daddy's lap to mommy's lap and back. Or turns circles trying to find something to do. Her appitite has decreaase. We feel he has a stomach virus. We are waiting out the weekend to see how he does early next week. We realize he is old, and takes longer to get over minor ailments.



I know this sounds bad, but we have no extra money to go to the vet. Hubby is out of unemployment, and all the companies in he area have laid off up to 30 years seniority. Our area is hit hard. Happy Easter Everyone! Myles wanted everyone to know that he is not feeling well again. We hope he gets better soon. He seems to be OK, but he is not active. He pulled out of his last medical issue real well.

Myles November Update

Myles is nearly back to himself. He has slowed down, due to arthritis. He had additional testing done and it was determined that his 'lame" hind legs likely came from the groomer. the day before he work up lame- my husband took him to the groomer. When my husband picked him up-he saw him fall off the table but he appeared fine at that time so he did not make a big deal out of it.

His additional blood work indicates kidney failure and not one of the diseases. (Addisons or whipworms). He is… Continue

She is doing great. Loves her big brother to death. =) I am learning, though, how stubborn Corgi's can be (or maybe it's just her). Because Sky is also a herding breed, I just figured she would be really willing to please like he is... not so much. It's her way or the highway... and she's only 11 weeks! She's fun though and I'm loving every minute!

Hi, I just read your blog about Myles and your husband's work situation and your financial situation. Wow, it seems impossible but I know that from many personal experiences that God answers prayer. I have just written down your names and I am going to be praying for all your concerns everyday.

There are a lot of Christians on this site who pray for others. You may want to post your requests in the Corgis of Christian Owners group. The more people that pray the better.

today is Easter Sunday and we are celebrating for a reason; Jesus Christ rose from the dead today to be our Saviour. He bore all of the sins of the world when He died and if we accept His gift He becomes our Saviour and we give Him permission to operate in our lives.

I pray that most of all you will come to know our Saviour and the hope that He brings, that he will heal Myles, help you bear what you are going through, lead your husband to work and provide for your financial needs.

My Myles i s back to normal, from his labor day incident, but yesterday he did some thing he has never done before, and it must have been too good to stop. The Cat knocked a box of those hostess powdered donuts off the counter. the box was just opened, and only a couple were eaten. He ate the whole thing. The poor little guy was vomiting white powdered donuts for 24 hours.
We have to keep the cat off the counter and put away all food, even if it is wrapped. he has been through so much in the last month. He never has been sick in all his 13 years.
At least he is doing much better now.
