Thank you Sam and family! I've been following this site waaaay before we adopted Chester. It's so exciting to finally be able to participate as a member. The forum has been such a great comfort to see other people going through the same puppy growing pains. Your pups are cute!
  • Penny <3

Hi!! This is a great site! I was browsing the web just to find some tip for raising my corgi and it was good to see a community of corgi lovers all in one place :)
  • Temple

Thanks! Your two "kids" are adorable!
  • Benson Kuanji-Yau

Thank You everyone for the warm welcome! You are all so friendly, and you have the most beautiful children too! (even though my Lab is a bit jealous...nevermind..he isn't anymore..he just found a ball) Wish you all well!
  • Oz_and_O

I see we're not the only ones who like to put our corgis in costumes. They are so cute!
  • Rick Smith

    Hello Sam,

First of all, I would like to thank you for putting together this fabulous site. I was thrilled to come across it! I have never seen another Corgi in my area and have met at least five. I can't wait to get together with them some time and she how the Corgis interact.

    Thank You,
Ricky, Cookie and our little girl Chloe
  • Sylvia

Well dang! Congrats on all of your seriously amazing accomplishments! Not only do you run a really great site that I am really greatful I found and can post and be a part of, but two design firms?! Thats the dream right there. I am currently studying to be a Graphic Designer here at Central Washinton, but after many art classes I am actually going the Public Relations Advertisement route for how to get on board. The Communications department has a better portfolio of work to go out the door with and I know as long as I have the skills, I can do whatever I want. Or at least thats the hope :P
I look forward to hearing from you and your Silvia *tell her great name. I share it though mine is with a Y ^^* and I will be around here for many many more months, years to come :)

Hi Sam, thanks for the add as co-host (administrator) haha. I'll have to get my thinking cap on.
By the way, what exactly is Chat. I've clicked on it but not sure what to do; don't see anything there. Thanks for any advice. Joy :)

I love the water pics- my corgi still won't brave the lake yet but maybe there's hope!
  • Jewels

Thank you Sam, sounds pretty much like what I am doing; I feed him first thing in the morning, always b/4 8:00 A.M. and again at 5:00 p.m. 3/4 of a cup each time. Weather permitting, in the morning hours, I then take him outside and toss his ball around for him, and within minutes, he is doing his business. At night, because it gets dark so dang early now, we take him out for a walk around our blocks, and he goes again then too. However, there are times, that both my husband and I work the swing shifts, so this messes with Buddy's schedule, thankfully though, I only work part time, and most of my time is during the day shift, from 6:30 A.M. until 2:30 p.m. about 28 to 30 hours a week, with 2 days off a week, so for the most part, he is on a pretty regular schedule. Now, do you have any helpful hints for me how to get him to "Stop" or "Heel" when I shout Buddy, NO? I'm not used to a dog that bolts when not on a leash. I know by nature, they are a herding dog, and they like to chase after anything that moves, but is there any way I can break him of this? Again Sam, Thank you so much for all your very good advice and input, it is greatly appreciated.

  • Markus and Angela Knaub

Thank you for the add. Love the web site and glad to see there is actually a difference between people that show their Corgis, "nuts", and actual regular fans of the Corgis. Let me just say some of the people that show Corgis are just crazy, ha ha. Well thanks again and keep up the great work. If you need any help or what not, please do not hesitate to ask.
  • Butter

Hi Sam....3 things (maybe 4). 1. Welcome to the "Waving Corgis" group!! Are you going to teach your little ones to wave?
    2. Now that you are a Canadian, please consider yourself invited to join the "Canadian Corgis Go" Group? Hope to see you there.
    3. I have made some changed to MyPage tonight. I have been forever trying to change the top line that says "Falliing into Snow". I erase it, put something new on and save it. It seems like it has saved it until I check again and see "Falling into Fall" (should be snow, haha since we had our 1st snowstorm yesterday).
    4. Some of us are finding it restrictive to send private messages. It can be frustrating to be partway through a thought and then have it cut off and have to end and then send another message or two to finish. Is their anyway to make the word count larger, svp?
    5. Regarding "Chat": thanks for your explanation, however I still need details on how to actually use it. I have never used a chat or MSN or anything before (I am sure I am not alone). I went on one night and left a few messages...no one there...then couldn't delete them. Do you think you could add very explicit directions on how to use chat. I would really appreciate it.
Thanks, as always, for all of your help. You run a fantastic site and I have certainly learned a lot here as well as meeting wonderful people and dogs.
Take care, Joy PS OK, it was 5....hmmmmm :)
  • Randi with Elphie, Tommy and Puppies

Hi Sam, I know I'm incredibly lame for not figuring this out...but how do I change the title on my page? I click on it, delete, and type "Randi's Corgis" but it always just goes back to "Welcome! Type you title here." Can anyone help?
  • Gail's Lil' Gizmo

Hi Sam!! I have a question.. one of the members is a friend. She wants to add pictures of her puppies on her page.. but she can't from her computer.. She wanted to e-mail me her pictures and see if I could add them to her page. Is that possible? thanks.. Gail
  • Gail's Lil' Gizmo

Thank you very much Sam!! she was successful!! She is thrilled that she got her pics here on the site.
  • Natalie, Lance &Tucker

    Hi Sam!
I am having trouble changing the title on page page, where you add whatever title you want. I know of some other people having some trouble with it as well. Also my email is saying I have 1 new message but when I check there is no new message. Thanks for your help. Natalie
  • Natalie, Lance &Tucker

    Thanks Sam!
  • Laura K.

    You are very welcome!
  • Natalie, Lance &Tucker

Hi Sam, Thanks for your help. I dont see any wounds on him where I found the blackish/brownish spots. I am going to pick up more flea preventative tomm./Thursday seeing he is due for it, do I give him a flea bath first and then put on flea preventative or put the preventative on and then give him a flea bath. He does seem to be licking at his leg as it seems to be getting worn from the licking but not red or infected yet, hopefully it wont get to that point. I will be vacumming/cleaning like crazy now!!! Thanks so much. : )
  • Natalie, Lance &Tucker

So I took Lance to the vet today and they checked him with a flea comb and didnt find any fleas, I will put on the Frontline tomm. as he was just groomed have to wait one more day before the Frontline will
stay on him. I have to get to the store and purchase a flea comb myself because now I am very curious myself, just to keep a closer eye on it so we can in the future catch anything before it becomes a
bigger problem. Maybe it was the new grooming salon I took him too, I really wonder. Keep your fingers and toes crossed!! : )
  • Kimbro

    Thanks Sam!
  • Stephanie McGanty

Wow your Corgi's are so beautiful! I need to get more pictures of my Nutmeg. She doesn't like any kind of camera though. She runs away from them like they are going to steal her soul or something. Silly dog. Thanks for the welcome! So does your group get together for Corgi play dates?
  • Randi with Elphie, Tommy and Puppies

Hi Sam! Thanks for fixing my title page...and for adding me as a friend. This site is fantabulous. I love it! (Your dogs aren't bad either :)
  • Boots and Superstar!

Hi Sam! Thanks for commenting on my blogs. Thats the reason I dont want to overwork her. She sprints all the times, and she works out all the times, she seems not to stand around, but to play always.she jumps and everything, and i wish i can stop her, but i cant do anything about it! lol.
  • David Cervantes

That's what we need! Two corgis. Twice the love. But Mom wouldn't like it. Love, Lily
  • Carrie & Chad

Thank you for your comments for Sunny. She is getting better slowly. We have her on antibiotics to help her threw this.I have to say I love your comments on the descriptions of your dogs. They sound like a wonderful pair and they are so cute. I am always very impressed when people can put their corgi's costumes. Sunny doesn't not like it at all. Thank you again for your support.
  • Erica

Hey Sam, just wondering if you got my email about the corgi super hero design, just checking to make sure it didnt go in junk mail.

Your baby is quickly approaching 2000 members. It seems every day there are soooo many new members. It looks like I'm not the only one spreading the word! : ) Thank you so much for starting a place for us to bond over a common love of Corgis and for everything you do for the breed rescue! You and Silvia are the best! Corgi hugs from Texas!
