Was an only dog for 5 years, but not anymore! Learning about sharing, I hear sharing is good. :) I have corgi buddies already so hopefully it wont be too hard to share with my brother.

Lance is a pure breed cardigan corgi, at the moment he may appear like he is not because his ears are floppy. Lance is dealing with auto immune issues and vasculitis of the ears which affects the blood flow in his ears.

Tucker is a sweetheart, seems quite comfy here. :) So glad to be out of the shelter. I was so sweet the first time I met my potential owners I gave them lots of corgi kisses, I stole their hearts. <3

Hi Natalie!
No....we haven't groomed spencer at the spa.....they have clipped his nails though. We pretty much groom him at home (bath, nails)....what are your plans for thanksgiving? We are going to my sister's for dinner on thursday, then I put up xmas decorations ALL weekend!

What a cutie Mr. Lance is! I had a blue merle Cardigan some years ago, he had one blue eye and one brown one. I have 2 Pembrokes now, Cosmo and Cody. Corgis really are outstanding animals! Too bad about the shedding, though! ;-)

Hi ya.. I found the skunk and the hot dog at target and couldnt make up my mind... Then when I put them on him... oh the little stinker came out.. lol.. I am already trying to figure out what to do for next year. McGee now has a little brother, a 8 week old Newfie/Lab mix... Maybe I need to make it thru Christmas cards first right..

Thanks Natalie...is Lance in the calendar voting. I would like to vote for him if he is there...there is a pup that sort of looks like him that I voted for but I'm not quite sure.
My husband just told me he thinks the breathing attacks are related to Butter...we see his specialist tomorrow. He had lung tests done today but he was having a good day so not sure if anything will show. If he is allergic/asthmatic to Butter he is not getting rid of him. Please continue to pray for us all.
Did you do much shopping this weekend...we saw on the news that in the US that Friday was a huge shopping day with many price breaks. We are not seeing many price breaks here, although maybe that is a good thing. Our government is in turmoil. We just had an election about 6 months ago and the previous prime minister got in again although in a minority position. Now the other 3 parties are starting to form a coalition (form into one party) and will try to topple the government; I have never seen this happen in my lifetime. Have no idea which would be better. Our world is such a mess!!! isn't it? good thing God is helping us. Take care, Joy and Butter
PS Saw the movie Australia on the weekend...so nice to have a break amidst the stress. I LOVED it...best movie I have seen in many, many years.

Thanks.. I just read your comment about the food. I think Blue Buffalo is a little too strong for his stomach. His stool is black and soft... so we asked our trainer (the one who recommended it) and she said try Natural Choice. Which it's fine as far as his stool goes however he's back to his old habit of eating his poo! I think it's because the pellets are small and he gobbles them down instead of digesting them well. We're going to try another bag of Natural Choice and see if the poo eating goes away. We've tried pineapple, even prescription stuff that you sprinkle over the food, he still eats his poo!!

I am very happy that Celeste will actually be keeping her and breeding her. She is such a pretty dog, and she will have the prettiest puppies. Thanks for your comments...a lot of people don't know how much this is breaking our hearts. But I am starting to feel at peace knowing she will be with Celeste. Celeste is such a sweet person.

How are you doing?

I went to a women's Xmas party last night...it was amazing. The woman who hosted it had her house decorated like something out of a movie. Unreal...so was the food. It was nice to get out and laugh!!!

My husband is decorating right now while I am getting caught up on messages.

I am hoping to take Butter to get weighed this week and he had better lost some weight. He still looks and feels really solid to me though. I know that he isn't getting as much exercise.

I walk him at night...we are in the country and it so sooo dark...kinda spooky. I walk him along the road with a big flashlight. I sort of like it though but it is very cold. We were supposed to get snow this morning but it never came. Also tonight and tomorrow; supposed to get more. Maybe it won't come; hope, hope.

I have to finish my Xmas shopping this week; hope to anyway.

THe breeder dropped by this week and gave us a picture of Butter's daughter. Her name is Cordellia and my she looks just like Butter. Very solid and big bone structure. It is 8 by 11 so I am going to try to take a photo of it and put it on with my pictures. I haven't used my camera in soooo long...I forget all my little tricks, now.

Thanks for the info. I will try the massaging. We have been mixing in cottage cheese with his food once a day for added calcium. Another breeder I talked to recommended that. I'm not sure if it actually works but I figured it can't hurt and he loves it. :)

Aww! I love his Mickey Mouse ears! He is such a beautiful dog. I have been looking for some Christmas goodies for KC. I think that I will be a lot more excited about her having a santa hat then she will lol. I found a pink crate on Ebay that I am bidding on for her for a Christmas present. I think I like buying for the four legged kids better than the two legged ones. They certainly tend to appreciate it more and actually play with their stuff a lot longer lol. Maybe that is just my kids' age. I am having a terrible time trying to find things for my 8 year old. Doesn't want "kids" stuff and all the other stuff on his list cost A LOT!. Anyway, if I don't manage to stay in touch I hope you and your family have a fabulous Christmas.

Not sure yet, when I went to the hospital all they would tell me is that I am pregnant so I am trying top get an appt to see my dr for more info. From my figurations only a few weeks or so :o) Still getting over the soreness from the accident but all seems to be going well thanks!

Natalie, I had to show my husband Lance's pictures because they are so wonderful. He can't get over his markings and colourings and is wondering where you got a dog like that. Were there other dogs like Lance in the litter? I think he must be one in a million.

The pictures are wonderful. The one that is his new profile pic should be on next year's calendar for December. I just love them!!! What a beautiful dog and great photographer. Joy :)

Hi Natalie, I put some pics of Butter enjoying the snow. He LOVES it; both running in it and eating it. Guess what...tomorrow is my birthday :( I was kinda sad today...not much fun aging once you are over 40. Anyway, my husband was so sweet...he wrapped my gifts and guess what, he got me a gift from Butter and put a big card on it that says "Happy Birthday Mommy, Love Butter". Isn't that cute? It made me feel better because I have no children of my own and never will have. So now I feel happier.

Lance is very beautiful. Sorry that he does not like the fire alarm. We have one in our kitchen that goes off alot...my two pups are not impressed. They act like they have been shot out of a cannon when it goes off.

Hi Natalie, these were the gifts from Butter. He wasn't too impressed with giving me the stuffed owl...he wanted it for himself. It was too funny. So we had to go out and buy him a Xmas stuffed moose and then he was happy. He wasn't too happy with Mama getting all the attention on her bday LOL
