Native of California. Been in Oklahoma off and on for almost 30 years and now it's home. I'm a volunteer rescue transport for dogs scheduled for euthanasia, a part-time activity in my busy life but with very high priority. Corgis are my main focus and passion on the rescues, but no dog is too small, too big, or unimportant for me to transport to a loving, forever home!

Four sable Pembrokes. Ladygirl is living inside my heart now. Topaz was adopted/rescued October 2007. Topaz and Ladygirl are/were best buddies and partners in crime! Both are sables, loyal, loving, faithful, and trusting through and through! Couldn't ask for better!

Frankie was adopted/rescued February 7, 2009, and Ladybug was adopted/rescued February 21, 2009.

    I just lost two dogs within 2 months of eachother, my great dane and dachshund....there are no words but I send you peace and grace...it is just so very difficult. I was searching for a Corgi and found a puppy which will be coming this week, we hope. Take care and welcome!

    When Titus, my Great Dane, was diagnosed with cancer, he also had a raging kidney infection...long story short, when the tumor was removed, the kidney infection turned to pyelonephritis, and he stopped eating, lost so much weight.....it was the hardest thing I have EVER had to do, b/c I had to make the decision after running IV fluids and antibiotics at home over a 3 day weekend. This dog was my very best friend - he was a certified therapy dog, in my opinion the best therapy dog ever created by God. I had watched him bring such joy and healing to so many, and now I could not heal him. I was a wreck (many people I work with had the same sentiments of "it's just a dog", and I very quickly set them straight!!! This was my BEST FRIEND! I did not want another dog, but I had a dream he brought me a boxer puppy....hence Maci, the boxer. She is JUST LIKE HIM!! Unreal. This happened in November, then 2 days after Christmas we lost our 14 year old Dachshund, Charlie. OMG, 2 dogs in 2 months!! I knew it would happen this way, as our "pack" were all close, and aged. Because Maci had brought life back to the remaining indoor dog Brody, my 16 year old mini schnauzer, and Maci was ready for a playmate, we began the search for the Cardi. There is such joy mixed with such sadness, but we open new chapters in life each day. Our canine companions bring more joy oftentimes than our human friends. Everyone on this site knows EXACTLY how you feel, and we are here for you.

    My background is my pupsters when Cloe was still just a pup. . .my camera allows me to not only do color, but Sepia tone which is the brownie effect. . .thanks. . .I think it's cool too. . . .most programs on the computer also allow you to take a color photo and make either Sepia or black and white. . . .
