About Me:: My husband Dave and I are "mid-life" puppy parents. We were married 5 years ago and Spencer is our "baby". Dave works in manufacturing and I am a graphic designer/production artist for a large advertising agency in the city.

About My Corgi(s):: Spencer was born on January 2, 2008. He was the largest pup of 9 in the litter and was loosely named after the Earl Spencer (Princess Diana's father)...it was either Spencer or Tater...I think Spencer works better for him!

On October 11th we added another Corgi to our family. Isabelle was born on August 27, 2007. She is a surrender from a family that just had a baby and couldn't keep up with her energy!!! She is a wonderful dog, happy and full of life! We are so happy to have her with us.

Thanks for the welcome,my husband and I are mid-life corgi parents too,but he had to throw a german shepherd in the mix. They get along great! The german shepherd Kori has a friend Gunner they play every morning and my little 12 pound Dyllan herds the two 45 pound dogs all over the yard its fun to watch,they are also puppies 5 months old and Dyllan is 41/2 months......

Thank you for the welcome, this is a great site, glad I stumbled upon it. My Corgie is a bit stock and weighs 25 lbs at 4, almost 5 months old. I guess it's the Queensland heeler in him that makes him stockier.

Cookie is doing fine. She stayed home alone for 7 hours today and rested up from the weekend. Tomorrow, we stop giving her one of the pain meds, so we will see how she does. She has been so good, not whining and quite pleasant, so I am wondering if the pain med is keeping her subdued. Thanks for asking!

Hey, If I'm thinking correctly you were in charge of the Chicago corgi meet up we went to. It was so much fun and we had such a great time.
