Loving life with my first pembroke welsh corgi, Finnegan! He is a true joy, gregarious, smart, quick, and playful, and the sweetest heart to be bestowed upon a furry creature. We enjoy sheep herding, rally, obedience, agility, and hiking, swimming, camping, and playing with other dogs and even horses and cats too!
Welsh Corgi Breeder?
No
About My Corgi(s):
Finnegan "Finn" is my first corgi. He is almost 2 years old and a titled Herding dog on sheep. We are hoping to continue competing in other rings (while continuing climbing the herding ladder) such as rally, agility, and possibly obedience. He even likes to Lure course (though corgis aren't allowed to compete in that!). His "big brothers" are Tucker, a golden retriever and Tannus, a lynx point short hair cat. My husband, Andy, and I enjoy all our boys, but know that Finn is at the heart of the family.
Welcome Laura and Finn! Man, is he living the good life. We took Sidney for a sheep herding instinct test...he did really well! I wish we could continue in the program but it just costs too much here in San Diego :( Tell Finn he's a lucky dog! :)
Won't it be hard to find one to pair up w/ Finn? I know corgis are rare in AK, I'm from Fairbanks myself. My sister, who lives up there right now, just ordered a black headed tri male from Montana... $400 + $425 shipping!!!
thanks for adding me :) i would love to introduce kirby to finn and the sheep, i reallly need to find s trainer for him, he plays the "chase me game" when i tell him to come when he is off leash.... it weird because he always comes when i call when we are inside
