I first got the Corgi bug from my grandparents in PA. They had two of them. My husband and I got our first Corgi, Odin, after we graduated from college. We needed a small but hardy dog. My husband said NO lap dogs and the apartment we lived in at the time was too small to get my husband's much wished for Doberman. So, a Welsh Corgi seemed to fill our needs.
Welsh Corgi Breeder?
No
About My Corgi(s):
Odin is a 2 year old tri-colored male who loves snuggling in the morning, chasing dad's four wheeler, herding children, cats, chickens, and swimming and diving. Everyday he fills our day with laughter. Odin is a very social dog and has yet to meet one he can't get along with. He greets each dog by flipping over on his back, legs in the air and waiting, sometimes even after the other dog walks away. We love him so much we are adding another one to our family; she's a little red haired girl who will be home Nov. 18th!!!!!
I love your profile picture! I noticed that your hubby is wishing for a Doberman. Ashton's "girlfriend" is a red Doberman who belongs to one of our kennel club members and they love to play with each other. It really is the cutest thing to watch since she is so tall and, well, you know how corgis are. Apparently Ashton must be a leg man. lol I'll post some pictures soon of them playing. :)
