Life long corgi lover, looking for another Tricolour bitch to fill my life with joy.
Welsh Corgi Breeder?
No
About My Corgi(s):
I have loved corgis for as long as I can remember. My first Corgi was a tan and white pembroke named Blaze who lived for 14 years and died when I was 14. He was followed by my second corgi named Taffy. Taf was my first Tri colour corgi and I have been in love with Tri colours ever since. I was given Taffy when he was 6 months old and I was 16. We were together throughout my teenage years and he was one of my best friends. Then came Gemma. I purchased Gemma from a breeder on the other side of town just after my first child was born. Gemma was amazing. The brightest, cutest dog you ever saw who was as dear to me as my children. She died in May last year at the ripe old age of 17.5 years and I miss her terribly.
Hi Lynn,
I saw your posting on the Australian Corgis group.
I'm also in Victoria and found my Corgi in the paper.
However, keep an eye on http://www.dogzonline.com.au/breeds/breeders/welsh-corgi-pembroke.asp
They list breeders and sometimes have puppy listings. You might want to try emailing or calling the Victorian breeders listed though as sometimes they don't post new litters up. They might also know someone who's having a litter soon.
Ballarat. Potus was in the Herald Sun classifieds- he was from a registered breeder but as the last of the litter the breeder was advertising in the paper. The rest of the pups had gone without being advertised I think. I'd definitely get in contact with some breeders- before we got Potus I'd rung some and they knew of some pups- we ended up with Po though & we're very happy.
Hi Lynn (my mum is Lyn!) Welcome! Good to see more Aussies.
I'm sorry for your loss :( I lost my heart dog last year, it's devastating.
Here is a link to breeders of pems in Australia, you can narrow the search down to just VIC but there aren't any current litters. If you don't want to fly a puppy interstate then you could get in touch with the local breeders and start building a relationship and they can put you on a waiting list or similar for their next litter.
hi lynn great to see more aussies on here I am sure a new 4 legged wonder will walk into your life soon....my boy is snuggled up beside me on tis stormy day and well he found me and i couldnt be happier all the best to you xoxox
I know of a breeder who will have a litter pretty soon - I think it will be due sometime in the next two weeks. They are very much into breeding for tricolours. If you're still searching for a puppy, do you want their contacts?
Hi Lynn, Are you still searching for a puppy? The breeder we got a pup from has had another litter- not sure if they're all spoken for yet or not, but there are tri's in the litter. Let me know if you want their information.
Sorry for the late reply, been away. The website is www.corgiaustralia.com, there is a 'Contact Us' link which will give you details. I'm not sure if he'll have any left, but give him a try. Good luck.

Tri's aren't common (waited 4yrs for my boy!) so you may need to be a bit more open. Boys are just as good as girls! LOL
Remember, over gender and colour, health should be your first priority!
Good luck in your search and if you have any Q's feel free to ask me.
