I have 4 VERY independent Cats, Maximillian, Badger, Sammie and Duke. . . .I also have 8 Doves. . . .I enjoy Archaeology, Paleoarchaeology, Geology, Geoarchaeology, Paleontology and Anthropology. . . .I play piano and guitar. . .I enjoy creating websites. . .American Indian Beadwork and in my spare time, I enjoy watching my iTunes Libray (over 2,500 movies) and my AppleTV. About My Corgi(s):

In the last couple of years, I've lost my beautiful fur-babies, Sid, Babs and Cloe. Like all who have lost their fur-babies, it's a pain that never goes away. I think of them always even though I have 3 Corgis and Peanut to keep me busy, they are close to my heart. My new additions, Hilary and Nutmeg are twins even though you would never know it by looking at them. They are full of energy and love playing, chasing and relaxing with their big brothers. My older Pupsters welcomed them into their world right away and they love them as much as I do. . .they have taken them under their paws and are teaching them all the do(s) and don't(s). They look forward to their morning walks, enjoy their chewies, stuffed toys and going to the doggie park. . .I can't imagine life without them. . . .WHO KNEW????"

He is a real cutie too! The thing I like about the red headed tris is that they have the soulful eyes like the red heads but add the black saddle which I think is quite striking. Of course that is strictly about looks and when it comes to personalities I confess to loving them all!

I was looking at Jennifer & Loki's page and happened to see a comment you had sent her about all the beadwork and projects you do...then I saw a picture you posted with one of your hair clips (was that you in the photo? beautiful hair...mine is also long like that) Anyway ~ I am more than interested in your work ~ do you sell your artwork? That's quite an accomplishment! Mine has been long since I was a girl, and I don't know what i would do without it! I've been told "It'll grow back", but I have never seriously considered cutting it. Why did you cut yours?

Would you consider selling your hair clips? :) I'd love to have one....or a dozen...LOL

I love the photo you posted of Andy. He looks like he's trying to talk. Why did his owner have to give him up. That must have been the hardest thing. He's so beautiful and looks very sweet. But you and Andy are so lucky to have each other. Is he your first tri? Ricky's mine. I think I've had 8 red and whites over a 40 year span.

I'm with you completely. But luckily Andy found the right human. Good for him and good for you! Have you owned a tri before? Sometimes seeing Rafa's dark back catches me by surprise. He's my first tri and I call him my tootsie roll. Andy just looks like he belongs with you. There's such a sweetness about his look and beautiful markings.

Haha. Rafa is also a big big baby. He whines every time I leave the room. He's a real gentle giant (for a corgi! twice lucy). What a lug. I complain about him non-stop but I wouldn't change a thing about him or trade him for anything in the world. Doug, the responsible party for this rescue, keeps telling me that Rafa will be, w/o doubt my most memorable Corgi, and I have to think he's right. No one has heard a peep about Lucy since we adopted Ricky/Rafa! How much does Andy weigh? It's hard to gage sizes on this site. And owners! Are you that long-haired beauty pictured below?

You are beautiful. It's funny I know all your corgis names and not yours! I'm Wendy. Lots of members call me Lucy, which always gives me a chuckle. Lucy is a bed princess. She doesn't let Ricky/Rafa on the bed which is fine with him. BTW, we have a best friend who's a family practitioner in AZ and he brings his dog to work. The pt's just love it. He's got a companion dog, a yorkie, so they don't shed and he doesn't have to be concerned about pt's having allergies. Not so with Corgis. My husband, Jack, wanted to take RR to work and I suggested he re-think that. While no doubt the pts would love RR, he's such a social dog, more so than lucy, and also so gentle with children and babies. Lucy's afraid of little kids and stays away from them.

Lucky you to have 4 corgis. I've always had 2, never more than that. Neither Lucy nor RR are big cuddlers. When Rafa gets tired he snuggles next to me to sleep. Lucy leans on me when we sleep. But during the day they want to play. I actually had to bribe Lucy as a puppy and teach her snuggle and give a kiss. Ricky's a kisser. A little Romeo. They are very different in personality and looks. Lucy is petite, low to the ground. Ricky's a big Corgi, 31 lbs. and only 1. No fat, just big and long, plus high in the leg. I can't wait to see him when he fills out and his chest drops. Haha. An adult!

I took the time to sit and read all about Whitehorse the Man...and I am in awe. What a great, great man he was - and how fortunate you are to know him the way you do. He taught you to love and embrace your heritage and to pass on the stories of the old ways...how lucky you are to me.
