Thanks everyone for the welcome. We are inquiring if there are any Corgis in the Columbus/Hilliard, Ohio area. We are interested in play dates.

Welcome Tre' and Morris..I really like the profile pic. definately calendar worthy. I also can relate to the tearing up of the stuffed animal...Gunner and Gracie do that every so often...

Welcome! Your Gaither is a handsome guy, love his deep color. 2 years ago we use to live in Ostrander just 15 min north of Hilliard... I miss Columbus! How do you like it compared to Alaska??? Are you at DCSC now? We were in Alaska for 2 weeks in 2007. It was absolutely gorgeous (in July!). The vistas there made me feel so small but in awe of God's creativity. Leasa

yah we dont have the wide open spaces in ohio as you did in Alaska...and id say most folks are more uptight about defining their little spot of ground in the city than those in Alaska too. i am so lucky as we live on a farm and i never have to leash my guys they get to run free, swim and chase what ever critter they run across daily :)

Hi Tre, we started our corgi meetup group after the previous one disbanded (following an unfortunate incident involving another breed). We had the previous group to build from, but some members were wary of coming back. It took a bit of organizing and promotion, but we're still growing almost a year later. We try to consistently hold a meetup (or, as we call it, 'playdate') once a month. If you're interested in trying to start one in your area, and you have any questions, please feel free to ask us.

We are already going to Big Walnut dog park on sunday... I think corgi will be too grouchy to go twice in a day. :) Big Walnut has a fenced in pond too!

Ohh noo I didn't even see your comment or I would have gone! :( Next time you go, let me know, I will try to check here more often!
  • Lou Ann Lemaster

I just now saw your invited for August 28th!!! So sorry; I've been so busy with my dad, I haven't checked my page out for a while. Mom passed away last Christmas, then I had foot surgery, so I am just now gettting around to taking care of mom's things and getting every set up for my dad.
  • Jerri Dyke

First of all b4 my apology, I have to say I really like the flow of your page. I like how it looks and the pics, etc. So good job! Now for the apology.
I like many others it seems got behind on my emails......like 5 months behind?? Shame on me, huh? I saw your invite and then it got buried in 2000 business emails. We own/run an embroidery/screen printing business and I tend to take care of the busines emails b4 the personal ones. Silly priorities, I know! :-)
Nonetheless, Pumpkin and I would like to attend a get together in the future. She loves to play with other dogs and the only other Corgi around is her sister, Honey.
So keep us on your mailing list and we WILL respond much quicker next time.
    Paws honor, Jerri & Pumpkin
  • Chewie

Happy to be a friend. :) Morris is a great name as well! And I know, our little pups grow up so fast! I feel like Chewie is out of her puppy months and now a teenager. I actually can't wait until she's full-grown like Morris--I feel like there's so much bonding by then.

As for chasing pidgeons and the like--YES. I know those feathery tricksters just like to tease our little corgis! It's a neverending cycle of chase>bird flies off>bird lands>chase...

Hope all is well with you!
