Tom came into my life the summer before I started law school and was my constant buddy throughout the process. Along the way we moved from Ohio to Alabama, I graduated from law school, and I recently became an attorney. I couldn't have done it without my little guy. His persistent barking was always great motivation! :)

Tommy was born on March 30, 2011. He enjoys long walks in the park, zooming around the couch, and treats from the mail-lady. His dislikes include bears and having his nap time interrupted. He is also a Canine Good Citizen :)

    We take the dogs with us everywhere...car shows, the nursing home, boating, on vacation, music festivals.....  People always come up and want to pet them and many tell me they are beautiful.  All I can do is agree!

    It's so helpful talking to other Corgi owners and everyone has been so nice.  Thank you.

    We live in Pikeville, TN which is an hour north of Chattanooga.  It won't be right away, but we want another Corgi and we're thinking about rescuing.  If you know of any Corgi rescue organizations please let me know.  I've found a few.  Also I'd like to ask  what you feed your  Corgi ?  We were feeding Winston and our westies and beagle fox hound mix, California Natural Lamb and Rice for 8 years.  After Winston developed diabetes and I began to look closer at what I "thought" was a good dog food, I realized it was 47% carbohydrates.  We've lowered the amount of kibble and added chicken breast to increase the protein and reduce the carbs but we're looking into a new food.  Thanks.

    Thank you so much for the add!  I'm new to the  site and excited to meet friends....especially Corgi's!!!  You have a gorgeous Tri!!! Is he the only one you have?

    I am a first time Corgi owner, but, not a newbie when it comes to them.  I have 2 gorgeous grandpuppies, both Corgis.  One a sable - which I kept for about 10 months, and a Tri.  I missed my sable granddaughter so much that I pouted long enought for my hubby to finally gave in! lol

    Thanks for the friend add! I noticed in your 'about my corgi' section that Tommy recently passed his CGC, congrats!! You should add the My Dog Passed icon so everyone can see what a good boy he is. It's available on the akc site (http://classic.akc.org/events/cgc/my_dog_passed.cfm). Ashton has his CGC but it's going to be a miracle if we can get Al ready for his. He has a real "stranger danger" reaction to new dogs and people then add to that the crying when left alone. Oh, it's going to be an adventure! LOL

    I am at indeed at Yale.  I'm just a lowly 1L though, and our finals are in January, so I haven't had the joy of that experience even without a dog.  I imagine Tommy can be a welcome study break sometimes though, even if he might be a distraction too often :)
