About My Corgi(s):
Tedi Bear was our black headed tri after 12 1/2 years he had to leave us in 2008. We were blessed with "Wendt Worths Sassy Samantha Southwestern Senorita" or as we call her (among other names) Sami. She was born Feb. 17, 2009. She is crazy about playing ball, tug a war or fetch. She is spoiled beyond belief and that is exactly how she likes it. She has grown into a wonderful young lady who amazes us more every day.
Soon we will have another fur baby from Wendt Worths Corgis....Bomber!
I have:
Pembroke

Mindy had glaucoma when she was 4 years old and had 2 different surgeries to try to save her left eye but it needed to be removed. She also had the lens removed from her right eye so she only was able to see about 80% out of one eye for the majority of her life. She just went completely blind last year. She still does well considering though and is still in good spirits.

Aw! Thanks for the complement on the video! Yeah, it took me a long time to teach him that "play dead" trick.
  • Priscilla Fernandez

I love samis colors. She looks like a desert fox! Very cute puppy.
  • Priscilla Fernandez

Oh and I would loveeee to hear how it goes with sami and your new pup! Also how it goes for all 3? of your dogs together. I hope everything works out great! :)
  • Priscilla Fernandez

Aww. Well that should be great to get a new companion for sami :) We found a wonderul breeder as well. She is in bakersfield CA on a ranch called poso creek. It is great to find a good breeder who really cares, she was so meticulous about the puppies care. All her animals are treated as her own children.
  • Marion Hebert

Oh So Huggable......He is adorable....I am so excited that you have found such a wonderful puppy. Bomber, does that foretell what is going to happen in your home when you get him there....Have a safe trip and please keep us all up to date on the antics that go on in your home when you get back. I know that you will have a great pup....after-all the breeder is super.
  • Joanna, Rainy and Calvin

Sami is such a sweetie, and with Bomber coming home to you all, you'll have an unstoppable team of cute-ness. I understand how you feel, making a long trip to pick him up, but we both know it's totally worth it! I made the trip twice to Minnesota to adopt from Jane, and I would do it again in a heartbeat! There's just something so special about corgis. I have been sick in bed for the past few days, and the pictures of your Sami really cheered me up. She has a great smile, and a such a personality that shines through in her photos. Sounds like we were both blessed with the love of a black headed tri-color. Thanks for being our friend!!
  • Jacqualyn Sequeira

I do not have a breeder yet, I love Pembroke corgis. I'm pretty excited to be here with so many Corgi lovers
  • Marion Hebert

Goodness Gracious.....I am so excited for you and your new boy I can hardly stand it. I have really been fighting the urge to add a new puppy to our group.....as much as I would love to have a baby around the house....I have to remember that they need shots, food, regular checkups, toys and lots of attention....That's not too bad, but still is worth considering.....So I haven't made the move yet....Maybe I can just enjoy your news about Bomber. By-the-way....congratulations on your birthday.......I will be 50 in September.
  • Marion Hebert

You like memory lapses, wrinkles, cost of new cremes to make them go away...droopy eyelids, thinning hair, loss of muscle tone, shopping for clothes and wondering why you can't wear what the young girls can, and on and on. Well, I guess I am with you....because I like the independence and the time I can sit in the sun room and read a book....take the dogs for a trip in the middle of the day....color the grey in my hair (nope I don't like that one).....go out to lunch with friends and not have to jockey lunch into a work schedule.....OK here is the shocker.....I am going to be 70 in September....not 50.....just wishful thinking....oh where has the time gone.....remember what I said about memory lapses. Take your time growing old....you have a lot of it ahead of you. Enjoy..
  • Robyn

haha, yes i am well trained.....something my husband could never do lol
i also taught lowlow "speak" yesterday
  • Kim and Cooper Espejo

    Hi Marion and Vern,

Thank you - we are SO excited! Your Samantha is lovely - I think Cooper may end up having her coloring. Wow - 3,000 miles beats the 200 miles we drove to pick Cooper out (and will have to drive back up in three weeks). Where is your breeder? By the way, I have several cousins living in Albuquerque - I LOVE that city!

You know, I went a long time with grey hair.....I really did not mind it....and then one day my granddaughter was visitng and decided she would color her hair....She was around 11 years old and I was just sure her Mom would nix the idea....but she didn't....so the grandma (me) said great I would color my hair also....What did I have to lose....So that started the habit....but lately, I, like you have been thinking that is just too much trouble and grey really did not look all the bad. So I think that I am getting due for a good haircut and will let the grey look return,. Time to feed and walk the troops....so I had better get started on that....Thanks for the birthday wishes.
  • Robyn

haha heck i would spin if my hubby gave me chocolate every time lol.
if only he was clicker trained haha one day i guess. i'm only 22 & he is only 25 so i have a long ways before he starts saying "yes, dear" lol
haha thanks, they love treats. i'm trying to teach lowlow to stay calm when new people r around.....that is proving to be difficult

    thank you!
  • Marie and Darby

Yes it is fun to spoil him. My other dog i had that passed away was also spoiled.
  • Jade and Jay

Thank your for the add. We are having a blast with our little puppy. We didn't have too much trouble getting him comfortable in his crate since he loves curling in tight spaces. It's a lot of work keeping an eye on him, but so much fun!
  • Jade and Jay

You bet I've been taking a lot of pictures. I'll definitely miss the innocent, sweet puppy stage when he hits the rebellious adolescent stage.
  • Joe and Quila the Corgi

Congratulations on your new baby Bomber!!!

It's been a while since I was on this site last, but I noticed your new addition! I think Wendt Worth Corgi's are top notch and very high quality Corgi's... I hope to adopt one in the future.

I hope Bomber and Sami are getting along together. My Quila is very active and I have been thinking of adopting another Corgi to keep her company. I hear Corgi's play well together, do you think this is true?

I look forward to seeing and hearing more from your lovely family...

    Stay Well! ^___^
  • Joanna, Rainy and Calvin
