Thanks for the nice words about my art! I adopted a Peke mix from Old Dog Haven about a year ago and I wonder if he could have some Corgi in him. He has a long body and these cute little short legs. I tried to include a pic of him, don'y know if I can do it right.

You can go see my webcomic "Wireheads" that features my corgi Murph once-in-a-while over at: http://www.wire-heads.com/istrip. If you're not familiar with how to navigate webcomics, just use the navigation bar at the bottom of the strip or the archive listing to find stuff. Thanks for asking, Corgi Mom!
I live in Nashville, TN. I could get the injured corgi from the Kentucky shelter (depending where in Kentucky) and meet you in Birmingham, AL if you can foster him. Let me know if I can help. You can reach me at lisa.parker@state.tn.us.
Thanks for the welcome! This seems to be a busy site and still close-knit. And no, size has not inhibited J at all...it's just really freaky for me to see a typical corgi. They're so BIG! :)
thanks :D u know what i discovered?? the pet smart cheap ones break, and makes kaycee bleed. i had to get the $12 kong rubber one... until i found the rubbery ones from old navy on sale for $1.97. so go figure! i had no idea. :P but thank goodness for old navy.
Thank you! Your Corgis are adorable, too! I was a kinda-mom to an awesome Red Heeler once, so I can only imagine what yours is like with the two breeds together!!
You lead a sheltered life. LOL. Fluffies occur in about 1 out of 20 births but both parents must be "fluff factored". Even then they may not have any fluffy offspring. It is considered a serious coat fault as far as showing or confirmation goes. I did not get them for showing. I will never have any other kind of dog again. They (fluffies) have stolen my heart.
holy moley! tank is surely living up to his name! kaycee gets real excited with her frisbees for some reason, but her kong toy is still intact from day one of bringing her home... go tank!
haha ;D yeah we have the kong frisbee. that thing cost a small fortune. it was like eleven or twelve dollars!!! but it really has been an investment. the only thing is that it gets so dirty even after washing it after every use. The crevices in the kong frisbee collects dirt, that's my only excuse but i'll probably invest more money in that since it's heavier and maybe kaycee would get tired more easily. ^^
it's funny to talk about corgi strength. they always amaze me at how compact their strength is. height really does them no justice. :P But then again, that's why we love them!
Tracker is a Pembroke and all Corgi, lean but close to breed max weight. He's a big boy.
His personality is a lot like my first, Dexter, who was a black faced tri foundling who I had for 11 years. If he saw a Hostess Ding-Dong wrapper or someone mentioned the name he would go into transports of joy. I can't believe anyone would feed a dog on chocolate!
In between I had a sable female named Mandy. She has a careful, worrying personality and now is the self appointed guardian to a three year old granddaughter and all the food she drops.
Ken
thanks for the comment! yeah, if you can't tell from the picture he's a happy guy, right? haha!!! he smiles at me all the time, i think he likes me or something ;) you guys have so many pets, what a blessing you must be to all of them! and do all of them get along?
Hi Corgi Mom's
Thanks for the invite. I work with a Corgi Rescue Group in St. Louis. Right now we - my wife and I have two Corgis of our own plus Babby Ben a rescue - 11 weeks old. We have a seven year old male and a five year old female that keep us going...
Thanks for the warm welcome, CorgiMom! Looks like you've got quite a few dogs at your house! Someday I hope to have more dogs... for now I'll have to settle for 2 teenagers instead ;o)~ LOL
I think Tank is the most presious name ...so strong and handsom.I had a Tank in my life once,I'm so fortunate! Wow.you are a special person!,I can't wait to hear more about your family, Have a Happy Holiday,
xoj
Thank you!! You are so lucky to have such a large Corgi family! Emma is my first Corgi and I've wanted one forever. I love her so much and she just makes me want another one!
This was Rosie's first birthday party. She is our third corgi. We lost our other two babies in a housefire in July of 2006. My son, who is home from ISU found the MyCorgi's site and it is awesome. I can't seem to get enough of looking at all these corgis.
