    We frequent the Batavia Bark Park. There is a fee to get into the fenced in area but it is a nice park with a pond which Lucy LOVES to swim in. Most days we go just to swim and play chase :o)

    gibson is a little cutie. you definitely have to take him on a trip to napa someday. FL was definitely a once in a lifetime experience (literally. my wallet will never forgive me). luckily for us, the concierge was able to hook us up with a reservation :)

    we went to southern iowa to a place that i am now not sure was the best breeder (always the case with more information). it seems that corgis are quite elusive in IL.

    Oh thanks! The place I take him for doggy daycare just told me this morning that they call him the policeman there. So it's perfect for him! I think I'll need to stuff the hat though, it looks like a bellman hat with it scrunched like that. :)

    Hi Kelly! The date is officially set for Sunday, October 12th! Sara and her two corgis might be joining us, but so far, Gibson and Toby are the only corgis that are confirmed for this wonderful adventure!

    Do you have a favorite trail at Starved Rock? Also, when is a convenient time for you to meet us there? Our drive is going to take about 2.5 hours.

    Hi Kelly. Curtis, Toby and I would still like to go hiking Oct. 12th and would be super happy if you and Gibson could join us!

    Since the other's can't make it, I'll try to plan another hike and/or a get-together at one of my favorite dog-friendly parks:

    Katherine Legge Memorial Park
    County Line Rd
    Hinsdale, IL 60521

    It is open from 6:00 am to 10:00 am and 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm for dogs to get together and play unleashed! Have you ever been to it? :) Please let me know about the hike!
