I have a dedicated love for the Pembroke Welsh Corgi. These mighty dogs in their little packages are highly intelligent, sturdy, loyal and quite entertaining. I breed the Corgi for ideal standards and great personalities. All my dogs live in the house w/me and are a part of the family.
All my Low Rider's have Champion pedigree's and go threw testing requirements to promote a healthy sound Corgi. I look for smooth movement, flat toplines, great expression, thick sturdy bone, and most importantly..MIND! My dogs get the utmost of care and love and expect the same from any puppy buyers. All my Low Rider's are fed Eukanuba and Sentinel given monthly. My puppies are raised in the home w/my family and are socialized several times a day. I have an AKC Registered Veterinarian who I have a wonderful relationship w/and handles all of the care on my Low Rider adults and pups. Puppies have their nails trimmed every week w/dewormings starting at 2 wks of age and every other wk. following the initial deworming along w/vaccinations at 6 wks before going to their new homes at 8 wks of age. All puppies are sold on a Limited Registration unless references are provided and I feel your worthy of an Open Registration. Contracts per agreement will be signed before releasing said dog. I will allow my studs to service a very selective few outside females upon my evaluation of said females and a health certificate from a veterinarian. I have acquired a Kennel License for my county which allows the county and city to come unannounced to inspect my kennel, and of course AKC. I have also acquired a Vendor's License which makes me pay taxes on my dogs. As a breeder, I feel it is my duty to educate any new owner and be there for the life of any puppy I produce and place.
Thank you!
Oh my goodness! The puppies under the Christmas tree...too cute. I'm pretty sure you're living my dream: being surrounded by Corgis.
Also, thank you for working hard to breed healthy dogs. With so many bad breeders to be wary of nowadays, it is very encouraging to see someone with a passion for responsible breeding!
Wendy - thanks for the invite to professional Corgis! I commented to "just a dog", and have to say, I find this site to be so healing. I am so enjoying my extended Corgi "family"!
Hey there! Thanks for the add. I have a feeling we may be doing business with you in the future. I showed Lindsay your page and she lit up. Cute pups! Love your pictures too. That one you have of them on the stairs is hilarious.
I can attest to the warmth. It's nice out. Suppose to get into the 50's today.Snow in the mountains but down here it's great! Was out with just a sweatshirt on. As long as it stays like this. Not much going on here.Been kinda slow. I do have traing Thursdayand Friday with Blue Buffalo. Ought to be inteesting. Have a good one and take care of the pups!
Don't know if we'll get that or not. Suppose to be like MINUS 1! Too cold to snow at that. We got about 6 inches made driving home at midnight Friday night rough but I made it.
You know you have a litter of puppies and I'm stealing one, so how's my puppy?
Thanks for the great welcome banner you put on my page. I actually had seen your website before I even was a member here and you have great lookin Corgi's!
Actually I am not that far from them! I am about a mile south of Rt. 18. I got Gracie from Athens, OH. I had my horse at my trainers and he breeds Corgis too. She was one of two left in the litter and I fell in love with her.
L. Cross is my trainer. He is in Athens and has mostly dealt with QHs. Just recently he has started in Paints. I love their disposition. I will have to post pictures of mine. This past March I bought a 4-year old solid bred that is 16.2 and still growing. He is a big puppy. I compete in western pleasure and halter.
I can totally relate to being addicted to them! I have labs also and I love them alot but there is something about Corgis. The more I learn about them the more I love them! They are awesome companions! Well I am off to bed..I will chat with you soon!
Thank you so much for your response. I can't see his ribs, but I can feel them through a layer of skin/fat/tissue. Yes, he has an overbite. I think it adds cuteness to him, giving him a more unique look, looking more like a fox. However, due to his overbite, I do not plan to show or breed him. Oh, he is VERY quick. He zooms across our backyard, so nimble like a rabbit! I will definitely look into agility. I love him as if he was my child! I'm relieved that the food portions I'm giving him are fine.
What do you mean by "I had to move her along"? I don't know where his overbite came from, because his parents were show dogs. Maybe it was a recessive trait? I don't know.
U can ship Puppies? Im sorry, its been a while since I've been able to get on the internet... and your last comment said "we can ship" You mean the puppies right?
Wanted to get your opinion - I blogged about kenneling issues yesterday - what are your thoughts on how to avoid a HUGE poo mess when you have to kennel b/c of being away from home too long to crate all day? (see my latest blog). Thanks!!!!!
Thank you so much!!! Woo Hoo! Another year older and "hopefully" wiser! Had a great day so far...nothing like having your classmates sing Happy Birthday to you...and of course, the candid voice mails from people such as myself, who would never be a contestant on American Idol!!!
Your corgis are Adorable!!!!!....I have one corgi (Alex) and then i also have a yellow lab (Charlie) and they are quite the couple. Alex likes to herd Charlie around the house. Its really funny to watch.
Hey Wendy! I hadn't heard from you in awhile. Just making sure you're not buried in snow up there! Ha ha ha! We'll be in your neck of the woods on the 31st... we're going to the IX Center for the motorcycle show. Basso is staying with his "grandma" since we'll be going all day.
