Welcome Sunni and Eddy! Portland sounds like a beautiful place. I used to vacation in Oregon to visit relatives and always liked it.
  • Melissa Bee

    Aaaaawwww. Eddy sounds precious!
  • Melissa Bee

Hi, Yes, I suppose it is a trap. Do you think I should pare it down?
  • Megan & Dan

we are crate training him and its working out great so far. our issue is he wants to potty ALL over the yard and not just in one area he usually poops in one area but pees EEVRYWHERE. =[. how exactly have you clearly defined play time and potty time? we're having issues with that

Hi, Sunni I'm glad you like the page and it's wildness! I didn't grow up in the techie age--no TV till I was in school, no polio vaccine either:-( However, I am now a techno crone (my friends call me that)--and Skeezix and I have great fun messing with computers.

How is Eddy? Miss Daisy comes home tomorrow, and we're all very excited!!! I'll be putting up pictures soon.
  • WhiteDove

Thanks for your comment regarding my page. . .Have you seen that infomercial about a hair product called WEN??. . .well after using it on myself for a couple of months, I decided, why not them??. . .it leaves their coats shining, smooth and they love the smell. . . .they told me so. . . .LOL

  • Wendy West

They had so much fun this past winter. We had far more snow than usual!
  • Elaine

hehe he does look "aloof" but very cute!
  • WhiteDove

    Hello Sunni,

No, don't give them any vitamins or supplements. I prepare their meals and make sure they get their daily portion of protein and vegetables and I brush them daily. . .they like how it scratches their backs. . .lol

    Welcome! : )

You probably could use a regular saline solution but what I have is made specifically for dogs. You should be able to get one at any pet supply store. I think I got mine at PetSmart ans it's called Clean Eyes by Gold Metal Pets. I just sit Finn in front of me with his back to me and hold his head under the chin kind of around the snout with one hand and with my other hand put in the solution. Unlike human eye drops, you are not just trying to get one drop in. It works best to flood the eyes so the drops run out that way if there were any foreign debris in the eyes (dirt, dust etc) it would rinse out of the eye. Do this to both eyes, dry off your pups face and you're done. It's over quickly so even with an inpatient dog it shouldn't be difficult. Good luck!
  • Sam Tsang

yeah it is a challenge, we bring our flash light during our night walks. It is very important to keep an eye on him and make sure he doesn't ingest funky things :) Good luck!
  • Sky and Lyla

I'm glad I could be helpful. I absolutely hate it when I find a flea, but I figure it's just part of having dogs in my life! =) Luckily, with monthly flea applications, it's very rare I ever find any.
  • Queenie and Chico

Eddy is an adorable tri color... I miss this age..so cute!
  • Queenie and Chico

hello.. funny you say Chico looks Majestic..lol.. He's a Majestic "terror". I love him even though he's quit "aggressive".And sooo much these days because he's "trying" to mate with his Queen. I'm hoping neutering will resolve his "aggressive" problem. Thanks for adding us as a freind. Keep in touch.
  • Susan Stanton

Is your friend a good enough pal that you can gently suggest a little help with her pup? A class with a good trainer would really help. She doesn't want to overlook stuff when they're still young enough to be trained easily. Meanwhile -- poor Eddy, he's not a wimp, he's just a baaaaaaaby (I say that about Bertie all the time, and he'll be 5 in two short weeks!). We don't have flea issues -- but I did pull 2 ticks off Bertie yesterday, so disgusting! anyway, give Eddy a hug from Bertie and Ethel (my diva), they know JUST how he feels!
  • Christin Bayer

I think Henry doesnt even know for what his legs are good for :P till now he seems to be a ball and rolling around :D haha, but every day more and more he is curious to find out what he can do with his body... its really too funny ;) I will upload new staff from him soon ;)
  • Shelby, Riley and their Momma!

AW thank you. I think she felt a little ridiculous haah. Your baby boy is so cute! So you just got him huh? First time owning a Corgi? They are so great! I'm really wanting another one, a male pup. But I have to be sure I can give him enough time before. They are the CUTEST puppies EVER!
  • Boo Buchheit

Yeah sometimes it can't be helped (I would not put mine in a crate on a plane either, especially when they are puppies). Have a good vacation.
  • Nick Cipa

Thanks. Biscuit was full grown, but only about a year old when I got him. He's a rescue from the Kennel where I was working back in High School when his previous owner abandoned him there. My boss took his owner to court for no payment and the magistrate ruled in my bosses favor to take possession of Biscuit. And she turned around and gave him to me. I'll get some pics of him up soon
  • Momo

Hello. I got my Momo from Portland May 2002. I'm not living there anymore but your little cute tri-corgi puppy remind me of Momo's puppy age. Nice to meet you Sunny and Eddy.
  • Chris Lynch

hey! thanks for the kind words, that picture was actually taken recently hes pretty small for a pembroke, but normal weight so who knows! hope all is well.

  • Chris Lynch

    P.S. Eddie is a cutie
  • Gum_mama

Nice to meet you. ^__^ Eddy is even younger than Gum.
  • Shelby, Riley and their Momma!

    Hi there!
  • Chris Lynch

i feel as if eddie will end up looking like dave when hes older, just becuase daves head was pretty dark when he was a puppy then lightened up a lot
  • Megan and Weasel

Hey, yeah, I lived in Kodiak for 10 years (previous career as a commercial fisherman) - I will probably work in Anchorage in some Federal job, I've put in for a few things - I am hoping to get on with Fish and Wildlife. My boyfriend works in Anchorage,, he's been there a year so I hope I get a job soon. We have horses so that is why we want to live out in Palmer, get some acreage. I gotta teach Weasel to sit still for pictures so I can post some! He knows what sit and down mean, but he doesn't stay long. He is getting neutered today, I took him in this morning and I already miss him. The house is too calm and quiet without him!
  • Bonnie, Dain, and Rocco

    Hi Sunni!
We are thinking a male dog would be good! I am reading puppy books now and hopefully will be prepared for our new addition by the end of the summer, color doesn't really matter, but I really like the tris! I am just trying to find a reputable breeder here in the Southeast... it has been kind of difficult.
  • Chris Lynch

thats about the same as dave, that picture you saw was taken awhile ago.
  • Bev Levy

Hi Sunni, An e-collar is the plastic or blow up collar you use to keep them from licking a sore or their stiches. Named so after the collars worn during the Elizabethan era in England.
  • Alistair Connor-Heggie

    Hi Sunni,
You're right, she is always up to no good, that's why we love her haha

  • Mikeal L. O'quin

    Thank you
  • Deborah Zadina

We would love to have another Corgi, but we are looking at some other breeds, too.

    Thanks for the welcome! :)
  • Jane Duchacek

We think she is about 6-7. Still full of vim and vigor.
  • Miranda

Thank you very much for welcoming me! :D
  • Melisse Fowler

Thanks a million - there sure are a lot of people on this site.......I could spend days just surfing the site and all the wonderful pictures. Unfortunately, no computer / no internet at home, so I have very limited after work time that I can use to look around and answer all of the kind folks who've sent me messages.
  • Max the doggie

Thanks, actually he shouldn't be tailed but I didn't get him from a breeder and I guess they tried to get it too late of something. He loves chasing his tail so I don't see a need to put him through a surgery for it now.
