My husband and I will be celebrating our 18th wedding anniversary on July 23, 2011! Have 2 human kids and 2 fur kids. I now have the four kids I've always wanted. :)
Name: Lance
Breed: Cardigan Welsh Corgi(Blue Merle)
Birthday: October 30, 2005.
Current Age: 8 1/2
RIP 5-3-14
Was an only dog for 5 years, but not anymore! Learning about sharing, I hear sharing is good. :) I have corgi buddies already so hopefully it wont be too hard to share with my brother.
Lance is a pure breed cardigan corgi, at the moment he may appear like he is not because his ears are floppy. Lance is dealing with auto immune issues and vasculitis of the ears which affects the blood flow in his ears.
Name: Tucker
Breed: Red and White Pembroke. Was rescued from the
shelter March 6, 2011
Birthday: October 12, 2007
Current Age: 6
Tucker is a sweetheart, seems quite comfy here. :) So glad to be out of the shelter. I was so sweet the first time I met my potential owners I gave them lots of corgi kisses, I stole their hearts. <3

lance is a cutie. i'm with you on the shedding- no matter how much i sweep or vacuum i'm finding tumbleweeds of kirby's fur all over the house. but it's all worth it! :)
Hi Natalie & Lance, live the picture of Lance. I know the feeling about dog hair
just the time I get it up it starts again, but wouldn't change a thing.
Jimmy is such a chewer I can't to get to the shows next week & get him more bones, they save the chairs. : )
Thank you for the welcome! We're going to look at pups on Sunday and we're super excited to have a Cardigan in our family... hope to have pictures up soon to share.
Thank you so much for the welcome to this incredible site. Your Lance is the most unique Corgi I have ever seen - his eyes are so intense and his markings are just splendid! Thank you for the wonderful pics!!! He's a beauty!
thank you!
it was really hard on my family, she was an amazing dog, as all corgis are! Lance is so adorable! his markings are so unique. i love them.
He's beautiful!
Congrats on your anniversary!
Thank you so much for your message. I think dog people are definatly more understanding. Dogs are such loyal companions.
Thank you :)
Hey Natalie, I think it was you who said Lance was a very independent puppy and I have to say, Faye is the same way! She loves us... but on her terms. More of a cat than a dog I guess lol. Hope you guys are doing well, we are having so much fun with our new Faye. She is already part of the family and I love her more than I could have possibly imagined I would have.
Hi Natalie-your Lance is soooooo pretty! Looking at his eyes I'll bet he can give a real good Corgi "Bore" can't out run that one!! My Brutis has perfected the "Bore" keeps me in my place at all times! To be owned by a Corgi is simply wonderful-
Freya definitely keeps to her jobs if we let her loose in the backyard. She spends the entire time digging and barking at all the dirt flying past her head. On occasion, she will bark at something that's actually there like a cat or another dog from the neighborhood. Otherwise, she has a loud frantic, high pitched bark as she digs--it really breaks into the sleeping. So she's now been crated at night which helps sooo much.
At the hotel, she did really well. The only time she barked was when we were going on a potty walk and she spotted the two cats near by. Outside of that, she spent the entire time in her crate except when I pulled her out for cuddles. I did feel bad by the amount of time she was in the crate but by Sunday, she definitely was able to work out more than enough energy swimming! Next time, I'll be smart and back stuff that they can chew on while they are crated.
Hi Im a Corgi Wanna Be, Im a full blod Golden Retriever with big dreams but the short side of it is i can only be one online, take a look at my legs! I mean a Prince can dream cant he?
Hey natalie you are right about the summer flying by my little one is off to pre school next thursday the 13th it will be very strange...Congrats on your anniversary we just had our 1st on june 14th it flew by. Hope Lance is doing good...it looks like he had a blast at the corgi meet up...I love all the new pics. they turned out great...I hope we can talk soon.
Hey I'm doing well! I've been pretty busy these past few weeks, I just moved out! I posted a blog about everything that's been going on recently. How are you doing?
Hi Nat!!! Boy has it been a long time since I've been on here. I miss it! Lately the only time I get on the computer is to pay bills. Summer has a way of keeping us extremely busy. I saw you were on the chat earlier but I missed it. You have some really cute new pics of Lance on here. What a doll he is! Max is doing very well. He is almost 2, Oct. 23rd. He's been loving the summer and swimming in his corgi pool. He met his first corgi's this summer and had a blast playing with them. He is such a good boy now. Minding sooo much better and just absolutely loves his people. How have you been? Have you been having a nice summer there? How is Lance doing? I will try to check in later and see if anyone is on chat. Take care.

Thanks for the birthday wish Natalie! It was on the 5! I'm so sorry that I haven't talked to you for so long! I go on, but I don't chat. I leave comments instead. I liked it better when the chat box was on the front page! That was a lot handier. Leave comments whenever you want!

hey natalie!
Haven't been up to too much. I've just been preparing myself to be a corgi mom, and working. And no, it's not too much longer. Four more days and he'll be in my arms!! I took your advice and wrote a list of the things I need to bring when I go get him. So far, I have; collar, travel crate, leash, camera, and a toy. =) oh, and I went out yesterday and bought his collar and a harness. All I have left to get is his puppy food.
Hi again, Natalie and Lance. I just got back from 10 days in Michigan myself - Western Michigan near Luddington. Kodi couldn't go, so he stayed home with his godparents and his sister pug. Unfortunately things have been a bit sad around here as his big sister the collie, who was staying with my mom (her breeder) passed away the night before I got home. He still seems to be wandering around looking for her a bit, as we all feel a big hole in the fabric of our home. She was almost 11. Luckily, she had 6 months to teach Kodi the ropes and how to behave like a big dog. Now I think I know why he came so easily into my life. He was on a mission.

Lance is quite a looker!! In the Appaloosa world they would call him "LOUD".
I'm guessing he's a Cardigan :)
