Welcome Jan! What a great looking bunch of corgis you have - they are adorable. I am a mommie to just one, but being on this forum makes it difficult to not adopt a second, or third..... Tracie

    Welcome Jan!
  • Kristen

How nice that Tucker could find a welcome place after losing his owner. It is a lot of hair isn't it! I just broke down and bought the Furminator brush. I'm hoping it will make a difference in the amount of hair that I seep up daily.
  • Kim's_Corgi's

Hey Jan! I'm a newbie to this site too. Welcome! I love your corgi photos!
  • Jan

Buy a good vac ,,and tell me about this furminator brush???

Hi Jan and the RI corgis! Welcome!
  • Jan

    thank you this is great..
  • BENZO and QUEENIE

Hello Jan! Your corgis are all adorable. You are very lucky to have them all. Hopefully, we can add more corgi babies into our family. I am sure Benzo gets lonely sometimes even though I am with him 24/7. Actually, I am also blessed that I am not working so I can spend time with him as a puppy. But I am sure he is sick of me too-hahaha. You guys take care!
  • Liz Thompson

    Hi Jan,
Thanks for your nice comments! Your corgis are too cute! Pet's Second Chance is here in St. Louis but if you go to www.pembrokecorgi.org there is a link to other rescue groups in the US. You're right, it is hard to believe a corgi in rescue! Clive was picked up by the humane society along with another female pem. No one claim them and Pet's 2nd Chance took both in. I could only have 1 dog and Clive stole my heart! He's a great dog. Thanks again for your comments. Liz
  • WhiteDove

Hi Liz, OMG, you're three are sooooo adorable. . . .I'm looking for a fourth, but working with my city about it. . .they tell me I can't have more than 3 because of "city regulaions". . .whatever that means???. . .anyway, I'm hoping I can do it cause like they say, you can never have enough Corgi LOVE. . . .LOL

  • Jan

you have to love those smart corgi people to invent what others have not.....I made 2 into 1, and for my slower guy hes alone less tangles but I have seen one double with a non tangle contraption (very expensive) I was just walking in town and had an out of state truck stop and say hey we have 2 corgis in here, its great .......then we went to the beach to play alls good in RI......Smiles:) from your pals in RI
  • Jan

    Oliver is from Massachusetts
    Opal, Silverdale ,Wa
Tucker , Vermont but had a tucker #1 from this breeder in the past
  • Emily Schroeder

Zephyr is actually an Oregonian by birth. We drove down to Albany to pick her up from the breeder. Washington corgis were too expensive for me to afford. I noticed a lot of people here walking their dogs, it's one of the reasons I fell in love with them!

    Jan:

I apologize fror not getting back to you. I don't check mycorgi as often as I should.

Depending on where you are coming from in RI - Kingston may not be that far. Basically you would head up 495, I guess, to Mass NH area, get off in Haverhill and follow 125 into NH I'd venture to say where we meet in about 15 Min off of 495.

We did have 15 Corgies. I don't know if you go to the gocorgi.com web site but there where a bunch of pictures posted. Here's the link

    http://www.gocorgi.com/forums/other-activities/3022-coastals-meet-again.html

We are planning on meeting again April 20th (rain date April 27th) in Kingston.

We'd love to have you 3 join us!!!!

    BTW - great looking dogs...
  • Jan

hi pat I will try to make the 20th get together sorry to miss this last one, our weather was much better in RI, but now i kick myself for not making the trip, also co corgi not so user friendly for me but will try to figure it out , hope to play with all the corgis on the 20th, jan

    we are all well -
If you want to to get the gang together this weekend then give me a call 849-1783. Maybe you can bring your 3 over here to Radar's yard (as long as we are not mowing - or they will all have green bellies!)

  • Nancy Liu

    Hi Jan,

  • Corey & Holly's Mom

Where did you have the picture taken of your cute dogs with Santa??
  • Corey & Holly's Mom

Can you let me know when they are taking Santa pictures this year? I agree the Santa's in mall are to snotty... Where do you take your dogs for fun around RI? Parks etc? I am always looking for fun places to take the dogs!!
  • Corey & Holly's Mom

  • Corey & Holly's Mom

Cool!! I will talk to my husband but I see no problem with meeting up at the park. :)
  • Nancy Liu

    Hi Jan,
Nice to see your corgis are also for McCain - too bad they can't vote (McCain could use 3 more votes!)
    Nancy
  • Nancy Liu

    Hi Jan,
I was out with Radar yesterday and a woman came up to me with her kid to pet the dog and she told me that she just met a 6 mo. old corgi owned by the owner of the Equestrian shop - I asked her if it was the one in Ports. and she said yes. I thought that there was a shop like that on E. Main in the Almay plaza near Fieldstones - so I pulled in there today hoping to invite this corgi to our meet, but there is no longer an equestrian store there. Nor is there any listed in the phone book. Do you know of any horse store anywhere on Aquidneck Island?
  • Nancy Liu

    Hi Jan,
Thanks for the info - I went there this morning and dropped off a little printout/invite to our corgi event. The woman there was very nice and she said she thought that the owner of 6 mo. old "Owen" would likely be interested - she also told me that Owen's mom was the owner of Sandy Pt. stables - so I went there and dropped of an invite too!

p.s. you can see them both at the Sandy Pt. website:
    http://www.sandypointstables.com/news.html
scroll to the very bottom of the page and there are a few you-tube videos.
  • Nancy Liu

    Hi Jan,
I am looking forward to this Sat. - Radar will love it!
It's hard to know how many will show - I believe we have at least 8 committed corgis (Radar, your 3, Jean's 2 from Lilac Ln. and the 2 from East Prov.)
I also thing we may get a couple of the people to show up that have the info but never committed (Holly from Ports., Owen from Equine Conn., Bagel from Sandy Pt. and the Bank's one from Ports.) I hope the weather holds out - but the dogs sure won't notice the cold.
See ya! and call Friday if you want to take them out.
    Nancy
  • Melissa

  • Hoogie's Family

Oh no!!! It turns out we probably have to go to our daughter's school function next Saturday and cannot go to the meet-up! Hoogie will be so disappointed. Have fun frapping without us.
