About My Corgi(s):
Twinkie is our first corgi and I just can't get enough of her. We got her for our daughter and I love Twinks just as much as she does. I think I have a corgi addiction. Update-The addiction won out and we got our new little guy Logan last fall. They are so much fun!

Nope, Ein's not a fluff, but they do look similar! Twinkie is adorable!
  • Angela

Thought I would check out your site - very cool layout - and Twinkie is just as cute as her name!
  • Dara and Gracie

I am taking Gracie to a place called Canine Country Academy in Dacula. The trainers name is Cathy Bruce. She is a certified obedience trainer. I am hoping to get Gracie socialized and into some classes. That would be fun to have a playdate. Do you work? I work full-time and miss my girl during the day. I hope that Gracie looks as beautiful as Twinkie when she grows up. Where is the Georgia Corgi group? I would love to find out more about it. It is nice to meet a fellow fluffy Corgi owner. Gracie is my first purebreed Corgi. My other dog was a Corgi-mix. I just love those short legs!
  • Dara and Gracie

I just heard back from trainer. She may have to post-pone the class due to low attendance. I was really hoping to get her into a class soon. She is hard-headed! She needs to be socialized. I contacted the Atlanta Kennel Club but no one got back with me. I will keep checking! I will also check Canine Capers. I would love to meet other Corgi owners. How old is Twinkie?
  • sandra

kaley weighs about, 25 lbs or so, she is soo skinny when wet, but i do not want a fat corgi! ...hope you read sansanpups.com for she writes there daily....off to agility this wkend.... smiles : )
  • Dara and Gracie

Darn! I wish I could do it. I sometimes work at home on Wednesday. Today is my first time to try working at home with Gracie. She is getting into everything and wants to play! LOL! If you ever have a playdate on a weekend, I would love to go. We can meet somewhere. I think it would be great fun. I would love to meet more Pems!

hey-just got home from horse show at Chateau Elan and go tomorrow-the dogs were fine and no rear end issues at all-so maybe it was not the chicken---one day lets get Riley and Twinkie together at the park for some puppy play-they are young enough to benefit from socialization esp. with one aboujt the same age-not this week but next week agility resumes and you need to come watch her class-its so much fun-you would love it and I did rfemeove my last name from the profile-hope to get together at a park soon and mayhbe some more fffffffluffies! Victoria
  • Shippo & Koga Corgis

Hey thanks for the add! Twinkie is a beautiful Fluff!
  • Dara and Gracie

Saturday and then we can take her out. Yippee! We have class tonight. I think she is very smart. She tries to get by with as much as she can. :) We're having a blast with her. It would be fun to see her around other Corgis.

Do you ever take Twinkie swimming? We bought a baby pool that we could also get into. It was the funniest thing. She isn't always so brave.

She likes to talk a lot and is beginning to herd us. Those silly Corgis!

I hope you are staying cool. I'm working at home today and Gracie, believe or not, is laying by my feet. Such a rare occasion!

Also, how old was Twinkie when you got her spayed? Does she get along well with your other dogs? We're planning to get us another Corgi male in about a year or so. I'm sure Gracie will boss him around! :)
  • Michelle

Right now Mon. morning or Wed. is good-how has your summer been? Victoria
  • Beauty and the Beast

Hi! Twinkie is super cute! I can't get enough of her fluffiness! If I met her in person I would squeeze the heck out of her! You are so lucky to have a fluff.

Hey there! I was reading two different stories about grossly overweight corgis on Golden Gate Corgi website. When I adopted Ein, he was so big he couldn't even walk! I wish I would've taken a picture, he ended up with a breakfast - dinner diet. 1/2 cup dry kibble, 2 tablespoons canned, and 1/2 cup green beans. sometimes we would just skip the beans at meal time, and he would get them as extra special snacks! He thought he was getting something extra wonderful! He was an over-sized pembroke, so he never broke 40 pounds. He was, however, half his original weight when he passed. Twinkie is very small, she is 20 lbs. and Lilly is a 30 lb Cardigan. I am glad to finally get back on this website! I do miss chatting with everyone! :)

Cindi, I freeze half of it in a plastic container use the other in the first week. With Twinkie you could use chicken breats-less fat the SP and beans. I use Blue Buffalo dry food from either Petsmart or Petco it is more expensive but it's worth it. It was never recalled because they are seperate from the other dog foods. They never change their ingredients check them out they have a good weight control food. Another great resource I use for my horses and Cosmo is Smartpak they portion the food and you get a 20 day supply of quality dog food same price as a bag. Smartpak canine or Smartpak.com. Let me know if have any questions Twinkie is beautiful! Jo
  • Joanne Koppenaal

Meant 30 day supply for SMARTPAK.
