    Some puppies will have loose stolls when changing their diet. . .are you using the same food that was given to him prior?. . .if he's still on the same diet, when you take him into the Vet, make sure you have him checked for worms. . .My Vet recommended a good healthy puppy diet of wet mixed with dry, not too much just enough to wetten the dry mix. . .it's worked out well and all my puppers are healthy and happy.

    Derek, the shelter called me to pick the guy up to foster -- it's all in my orginal blog -- the one you commented on was the update -- however, the shelter jumped the gun a bit and did not consider regulations across state lines -- now we're at a stalemate until we have a specified rescue that will take him and allow me to foster on their behalf -- it's crazy.

    It has to be a corgi thing. But it is so cute to watch. Ray will start out by playing fetch with herself. She'll do that for a while then decide she has tons of energy. But for a puppy she is very mellow, the majority of the time she's laying by someone's feet, like she is right now :) And your dog is very good looking :)

    I gained weight on Ramen too! It took me 6 months to loose it by exercising every day, eating green apples and kefir only. Too bad kefir is not as easy to find in America, it is the best thing for yous stomach.
    Dogs are therapists, you're right. I never had my own dog before, so I'm just discovering all the joys of dog ownership. It is truly amazing how devoted and loyal they are. Shiro would follow me everywhere in the house and lay down if not on my feet then somewhere he can see me from. And every time I look at him he's watching. I don't know, maybe he's just hoping I have some chiken, but I like to think he's watching out for me.

    BTW - poor little chickens!

    We got Silas from Cathy Baker in Stuart, Florida. He has a very "delicate" face for a Corgi :D He's a smarty.

    I think a raffle is a great idea — although I agree — with Morgan, everyone might be a winner LOL. I am going to leave my bet as part boxer, although it's a long shot :)

    I laughed at your comment about Silas' size. That photo was taken when Barnaby was a pup. Barn is gigantic compared to Silas now. I'll have to take more photos of the two of them. Barnaby is one big Corgi!

    Thank you for the complements on my dogs. I too like unique :) I focus on a smart, very loving family pet not 'flash' as you say, for the show ring ~ though I have had several off spring who I wish were being shown as I think they would give the usually uppity show dogs a run for their money :). I price most of my pups at $550.

    Sad to say, she is a pet store puppy. She's my first puppy so I didn't know how bad petstore puppies could be, but she's turned out to be the best thing in my life. I have no regrets on adopting her and I'm happy to have gotten her out of that environment. She's just amazing! We have another Pembroke on the way around Christmas time, and that puppy is from a breeder :-) I did my homework!

    He is doing ok, thanks for asking. He is scheduled for his heartworm treatment on May 19. He is on 3 medications right now for the dermititis/fengal infection & the Upper respitarory infection. He gets along ok with my beagle/basset mix but wants to tear y cat apart, its kinda of scary. He is not house broken so I am trying to figure out the best way to house break an 8 yr old dog. When we go outside if he hears another dog he starts to leave the yard to go find them. But I am happy to have him in my life!!!!!

    Glad we're "friends." Had lots of comments but I forgot them. If I only had a brain! I just loved the idea of a baby album for your Corgis. I've been trying to dig out photos of all my Corgis over the years. Many of them were before digital cameras & I've scanned a few and posted them with some stories on the Corgis Remembered Group. Anyhow, nice to meet another owner who is ga-ga over their dogs.
