Hi, I am live in colorado and commute to Wyoming for work. I love running ( charlie hates it!), hiking, reading, and spending time with my little family (my husband Joe and my little tri Charlie!)
Welsh Corgi Breeder?
No
About My Corgi(s):
My corgi's name is Charlie, and he is now 4 years old! He came to us from south dakota in may of 2007. He is still a mama's boy and is spoiled rotten, like every corgi should be! He loves to go for morning walks, playing with his cong, tug jug and many other toys. There are 2 other corgis on our street that I am sure charlie would love to get to know. He loves people and all other dogs. I would love to get another corgi some day soon, so charlie could have a brother or sister! Also because as they say "you can't just have one!"
Hi Kathleen! Congrats on the engagement! Jonalyn and Dale are west of you in Steamboat Spring. Start a group page and attract more owners in your area!
Hi Kathleen,
We aren't too far from you in Steamboat. I've met so many corgi owners out here, but for the most part (since we have 3 corgis) our corgis try to herd their new friends. :) I'm excited about your upcoming wedding. Hope the plans aren't too stressful!
sooo cool you are here on corgis of the world unite...it is a flickr group... over a hundred members, and thousands of pics of corgi kids...come and add yours there too....there can never be enough corgis!
Where did you get Charlie from? We got Murphy from Sioux Falls, South Dakota. I was just curious because if its from the same place, they could be siblings. Charlie is really handsome.
Thanj for adding me! Are you going to the littleton corgi meet up? I dont know if i will be able to because of volleyball:) ur corgi is super adorable:))
thanks yeah I'm going camping this weekend fishing with my friend James the nxt weekend then I go help the homeless then school and I go camping so o then theres a fair some where this weeend I think near Windsor
Hi Katleen, I still have three little boys available. We live in Eastern Nebraska, just north of Lincoln. The puppies are $350. They are four weeks and so much fun right now. you can email me at kgottschalk@nrea.org. I would be happy to send pictures if you like.
I figured that was the case, but thought I'd throw it out there. Good luck on your search. We'd been looking for a while with no luck, someone always beat us to the punch, so we finally went with the guarantee. If I see any on craigslist or anything, I'll be sure to let you know!
Thanks Kathleen. He was named Rupert after the British Actor, Rupert Everet. I thought it was an appropriate British name (not Welsh, but close enough). Charlie is adorable.
I never see corgis at our animal shelter but then again, I am not always looking. I ran into a couple not long ago and they said they got their corgi from the shelter. I wish we could take another dog. I would be there in a minute to rescue her. Wonder if her picture is on their website? I'll have to go look.
Hi Kathleen,
I just checked our shelter's web site and they don't have a corgi listed. I wonder if she was already adopted? Do you commute to Cheyenne to work? If so, where do you work, if I may ask.
Every time I run into someone in the area who owns a corgi I think about trying to set up some sort of local, informal corgi club. I read about other places having corgi picnics and I think that would be a blast. What fun it would be to see a bunch of corgis (along with any other family dogs!) running around together. Do you have something like that in your area?
Thanks, Kathleen! She's very sweet and very tiny (only 12 pounds!). I see you're from Fort Collins, which is actually where I'm adopting Loretta from! She belongs to my mother's coworker right now, and I'm headed out there to pick her up Memorial Day weekend. I can't wait to get her!
