About Me:
We are a young couple in our fiftys. Our two legged kids are out on thier own so we devote most of our free time to our four legged ones. We have three, a Great Dane (Joni Bell) a Collie Lab mix (Ollie Ann) and our Corgi Fence Climber mix, (BEAR). We are contractors with United Van Lines and travel all over the U.S.A.. Although, we leave the girls home with the house/dog sitter, Bear never leaves our side.

About My Corgi(s):
We rescued Bear from death row at our local dog pound and we both truly believe that he knows it. He is the most loyal dog either of us have ever known and almost always does everything he is told to do. Although, if he does not want to do as he is told he becomes stiff and moves very slow. We call it the robot walk.

Last year Petsmart had a photograph of a Corgi on the cover of it's calender that looked just like Bear and it is our wish to find the owner of the Cover Dog and and hopefully get some mix information.
I have:
Corgi mix

    Hi and thanks for the welcome. Bear is beautiful. Smoke is my little short shadow too. The only place she doesn't want to go with me too is the vet! We have 2 other dogs too, a border collie and a pit/boxer mix. Tina and Smoke

    I think he looks a bit rottweiler (sp?) and corgi :) He most definitely looks like black bears that I've seen at the zoo.

    Maybe I'll be better at this than Facebook... It's similar, yes? Frankie is mixed with some blue-eyed, longer-legged something or other with a tail. As you can see from the photo, he had a broken leg from rolling down the mountain escaping from at least TWO COYOTES! Not on my watch, but when he lived across the canyon from me. Emily (previous owner) has two other dogs and a cat when she became pregnant and they didn't feel they could handle Frankie anymore, who was a rescue from some industrial section of downtown LA. So, Frankie came to Hollywood, and life is better now. ..and yet he still seems to want to run off. I don't take it personally. Thanks for making me feel welcome.

    Tammey and Caven,Glad to hear You folks and Bear are getting around! My Corgi named "Corgi" - 11 mos old male looks very much like the corgi standing up on the left in Judy & Alan's photo. They sure grow up fast! He has been holding 30 lbs. for the last 2 1/2 months! He stays in most of the time and eats about two 12 oz. soft drink cops of dry food per day. He likes a scrap from the table at times but knows not to beg-he just sits a few feet away and looks at me. I most always get up and call him over to his dish and say "Food,Food,Food"-sometimes he goes for it and others he just comes back and looks at me eat. Well best to You Folks for now,,Ralph , Fredericksburg,Va. (retired truck driver)
