Thanks! I hope you have a great thanksgiving too! Glad you are doing good and settling into your new place. Take care!
  • Allison Musick

Thanks, she is a handful! But I'm enjoying her more and more every day. :)
  • Judi, Dawn, Soffie & Griffyn

Thanks, yes we had a great holiday. How's your search for a corgi? We recently attended the Florida Corgi Picnic and the majority in attendance were Pembrokes but there were a few Cardigans, and they were quite the interesting breed. If we lived in a place where we could have more dogs, we would probably be looking to add a Cardi to our crew too!
  • Alice

Thanks! He uses that face to get away with murder! :)
  • Boots and Superstar!

Hey Juel, thanks for the comments! how is your corgi search going?
  • Sir Riley of Pembroke

Rusty is a gorgeous Shepherd! I think you have a hard decision ahead...pembrokes and cardigans are both great! I like Pembroke's more because I like the stubb look lol Cardigan's come in such a variety of colors though and some have blue eyes! Type puppyfind.com and select the breed and then where you are from and local breeders come up...
  • Sir Riley of Pembroke

Thanks I hope you have a great christmas as well. I'm glad you made the tough decision corgi's are great dogs! I'm in the same boat you are in right now waiting for a breeder's pups to be born. So hopefully next February or March!! It will come quickly!
  • Sir Riley of Pembroke

My parents want two pups and I will be getting one so that will be fun!Hopefully they will all be friends and everything works out next year to get them. Hope you have a great holiday! Yes the potty training worries me a bit but I plan to crate train so that should help. Riley learned quickly that way.

Happy New Year, Juel. How are you doing? We are hanging in there....having a major blizzard today..just unreal...started last night and is expected to end tomorrow sometime. Hoping we don't lose our power! Poor Butter had to go out to use the facilities and came in coated with snow...his whole body was white. He normally LOVES snow but this was a bit much. Hi Juel...Thanks for the friend add. The mystery picture is added! Were you there for the chat when I was talking of adding a picture of lance and couldnt yet and everyone was getting anxious? Well anyways its there. Its late, I need sleep. Talk to you later.. Nice talking on chat today!
  • Dooby

Thank you for stop by watching Dooby's photo and leave a message for us. ^^
I definitely vote for Cardigan, because I like it's elegant tail and two big ears. It's long tail won't perk up to the sky like we think a dog does, it just stay there nicely.
Dooby now is almost 3 months, he becomes clever and clever every single day, the down side is he is so mouthy, the bright side is he is clever, passion and sweet, he already knows a lot tricks and he will stay beside my feet quietly when I am washing dishes.
I'm looking forward to see your new pup, watch others corgi photos is my new hobby now. ^^
  • Lucy Hicks

Lilly votes for the cardi! What did you decide?
  • King Koby of the Treasure Coast

Thanks! I can't wait until I get him this saturday and can actually have more stories to tell! It's so exciting! I have to get a photo on here of my parents shepherd puppy Korie! She is sooo cute!
  • Born In Boston

    Hi, Juel,

I live in Los Angeles and am planning on getting a Cardigan hopefully sometime this year. I'm having some trouble finding a breeder in California and I just read your post about the Hum Dog show. Can you tell me which breeder you're planning on going with? Thanks--B.I.B.
  • Born In Boston

Thank you! I'm glad to know you actually visited them and liked what you saw. I'll definitely put them on the short list.

Good luck with your new addition, I'll look forward to seeing baby pics!
  • Geri & Sidney

Good to hear from you Juel! I have not been in chat much either since the change. It tends to send my computer into a tailspin. I blame the flash upgrade.
Congrats on deciding on a Pem! Please let me know when you get him/her so I can go see on your page.
  • Angela

    Juel,
You've got some special friends in your life. Keep up the good work with the Wildland dept - something very important to many of us.

    thank you.. happy easter =)
  • Alice

I know, it's hard to stay away isn't it? :)
Have you decided which Corgi you are leaning towards, Cardi or Pem?
  • Alice

If you can, you should try spending some time with an adult of both breeds. They share some similarities but they also have some major personality differences. My husband's family has always owned Pems which I thought I originally wanted too but after spending more and more time with them I decided the Cardigan was better for us. Both are cute but I must say I do favor the Cardigans with their gigantic ears and big paws. :-) We plan on getting a 2nd one once we upgrade from apartment to house when ever that may be. If you have a local Cardi breeder, that's even better. We had to drive 7 hours out of state to get Finn and he did surprisingly well in the car for 7 hours coming back.
  • Sir Riley of Pembroke

Thanks! Riley was so good I could dress him up and he would just sit there. He would do anything for food!
  • Natalie, Lance &Tucker

Hi! How are you, hope everything is going ok!

  • Janett

    Have a nice Weekend
  • Geri & Sidney

Hi Juel! Thanks for the message, that is wonderful news! Are you looking at Pems or Cardis? Congrats to your boyfriend to, I'm so happy to hear about his job. The newesr photos I posted were from the Ren Faire back in April. Hmm, I guess I need to take a few more!
  • Geri & Sidney

I can understand that...we fell in love with Pems at the agility show we went to years ago. And naturally I'm partial to them ;)

Are you looking at a tri, sable, red/white?
  • Manda and Chloe

we had to find henry a new home back in may but otherwise we are good, he went to another corgi member. hope you get your corgi soon, have you decided what kind you want yet?
  • Manda and Chloe

  • Dee & Yoshi's Page

Awww... Thanks for the welcome! suggestions... just watch them until you feel comfortable that they are comfortable with each other. I know our German Shepherd was a little distrubed at first but now theyre bestest of buddies! We still keep them away from each other when it's time to eat. German Shepherd is still very protective of his food and other belonging. Our Corgi had no problem. It's been about a month and it just keeps getting better. :) Enjoy!!!! It is a BEAUTIFUL combination! :) Let me know how it works out!
  • Dee & Yoshi's Page

By the way... your German Shepherds are too cute! :) Cant wait to see your cute corgi with them!
  • Dee & Yoshi's Page

When do you get your baby corgi?
  • Dee & Yoshi's Page

How fun! Are you excited? Yes. Max and Yoshi are both males. First we put them on each side of a gate so they can sniff each other. Once we saw that Max (GS) was excited and happy with no aggression, we put them in the same yard. Yoshi was two months old. I think Max just knew he was a puppy and he did very well. I think the sooner you can put them together, it will be much better. We also knew Max didnt do well with females. We learned from a traniner that females seem to be a little more dominated. Max just didnt like it. :) So we knew we had to get another male.
  • Dee & Yoshi's Page

I'm sure he'll do great! German Shepherds are just wonderful dogs. :)
  • Natalie, Lance &Tucker

Hi Juel! When does your pup come home?
  • Dee & Yoshi's Page

    Is your puppy home????
  • Leasa

    Hi Juel
If timing is good for you I have a perfect little female pup ready named Cupid. You are northern CA, you could split air shipping to OR for only $125 on Dec 2nd, though I dont know how far that is. Look on my page for a live video of her name "you have a friend in me". The black pup sydney is who is going to OR!
I loved your music on you page. I need to add some to mine but I havent checked into how... a little behind i know :)
  • Tegan, Carol & John

Thank you! Rusty is very handsome -- German Shepherds are my other favorite dog!
  • Aber, Ragnar and Kelso

Hope you find the perfect little corgi for you soon.
  • Ashley and Copper

Well thank you! He is VERY smart and crazy. I got my first German Shepherd when I was like 6 I think.HE was a white shepherd and he was all mine and a GREAT protector. Since then I have had 7. We always had two at a time and at one point, 2 females and a male. The females got pregnant a week apart and we had 17 puppies! lol that was fun and if I had my way, we wouldn't have gotten rid of any of them. If I've learned anything in all my animals is: When the time is right, you'll know. I think this is also for the fact that you get to pick your perfect match. Everything happens for a reason. The one time I rushed and getting a pet, my heart wasn't in it and we weren't meant for each other. You'll see a little face and not only will AWW come out but so will "That's the one!" Good luck!
  • Gromit, Sparkle, and Doug

I had some wonderful German Shepherds in the years before I discovered Corgis. You will find that there are many similarities in the personality of the two breeds. I'm sure when the time is right you will get your Corgi and Rusty will have a new pal to play with and together they will make a handsome pair.
  • Ace and Jen
