Hello !
I'm French, living in Japan (because my husband is Japanese), and I have 1 daughter (21 years old) and 2 Welsh Corgis.
We live in north Japan: Sendai city. (350km north from Tokyo)
I've never lived in an English speaking country, that's why my English isn't very good, but I want to try MyCorgi because I'm so happy to know people who, like me, like Corgis !
There is very few Corgis in France, and nothing like this community.
I enjoy very much looking all your Corgi photos, thank you !
Hi Florence,
it's just amazing how they can react to different languages just like human, hey? I wonder if Uyanga speaks French in doggie languange haha.
We wanted a sable but the colour is so hard to find and they were not many puppies around in the state where we live (New South Wales) but we found Truffle's breeder, who at that time had 2 puppies left. We fell in love with Truffle right away.:) Most puppies for sale to public (in OZ) nowadays are borned with tail and in Australia, tail docking is banned not long ago so both my kiddies have their tails intact.
Wow! Looking at your babies is like looking at my own! How precious! They are beautiful. We obviously have great taste! ;-) Your English is tres bien! (I speak very little French - un peu?) How fun to see someone else with both Corgis! Enjoy!
Bonsoir Florence,
Iowa is very far away, but I imagine your visit was a wonderful experience. My husband's family is scattered...Barcelona, Sardinia and Cogolin (near us). His mother moved to Baden Baden for her health many years ago so everyone is out of Switzerland. I like your new picture-great symetry.! Do you work in Japan? I'm semi-retired. If you would like to email me it's mmeckg@hotmail.com I hope you have a nice week ahead.
Hello Florence,
I found this http://susanjcunningham.wordpress.com/
She lives in Thailand, U.S. journalist based in Bangkok, fluent in French also a little bit Japanese. That's why I think about you.
You have a good day.
Hi Florence - My Cardi, Dixie, is very submissive and sweet. Moose, the Pem, is definitely the boss! He is very manly and bossy at times, and Dixie is a sweet little Princess. Are your two the same?
Hello Florence and the kids,
Sorry about the weather, till now rain should be gone, isn’t it?
There was raining at my house too, but we need it since it was so hot and drought.
And sorry about that you can't open that website; I don't remember how I can get to open it.
Anyway, I have seen all your beautiful pictures; I think you are a very experienced photographer. I love photography too, but I am just the beginner.
Yes, I cook often but only Thai food I can, and lucky that my husband can eat all what I cook.
I love cilantro (coriander leaves) we use often on Thai food for decoration, mostly put on top. We also use its root for marinate meat. I love all these kind of strong smell herbs included lemon grass, green onions, ginger, galangal and amore...
You have a beautiful day!
I really like your Video, ha ha, funny and is very very cute.
The background sound is familiar to me: it likes what Gizmo makes when he plays with Rex...tap tap tap on the floor.
I am not surprised you laugh the way we add sugar in soup, the first time my husband saw me do that he rise his eyebrows too. We have to have all tastes blended in our food mainly with sweet, salty, and spicy. So, your soup would taste mild to us. It’s also our habit when we have noodle soup we often add all those things ourselves, if you notice the noodle restaurants in Thailand there will have a set of sugar, crushed chili, fish sauce already on the table.
Yes, I can drive. Imagine how good I am; I first learn how to drive in Bangkok. Ask me next time if you want to know why I said so…;)
Hello Florence,
You're back!
My family will be fine, thank you anyway. The activities is only in Bangkok, Thai's style politic conflict,in my life time I have seen like this at least 6-7 times at least ,there will have the settle agreement peacefully soon,I hope.
How did you get the news from Thailand? Is it local news there or from cable news like CNN?
I like your flower's blog even though I can't read French.
You have a great day!
Thais, Rex, and Gizmo
Dear Florence
Tucker was one of a litter of 6--all boys! Tucker and one other were brindle, one was tri-color and the others were red & whites, with a little sable shading. One is being raised with eye to competition, the others, like my Tucker, went to carefully selected homes as companions. They were born in Hood River, Oregon, which is quite a ways from here, as there don't seem to be any reputable breeders anywhere near. I don't even see corgi's walking or in the park or anywhere around here.
Hi Florence,
Lucky so far, all the storms have been far away from the Florida keys. Now there are 3 out there just sitting, getting stronger, so we'll cross our fingers. We're far away in Cannes only watching on the internet. 3 years ago we were hit badly so now we just come over here. It's cute to see Uyanga watching TV!
Hi Florence,
Thanks for the nice welcome. I love the photos of Nana & Uyanga shopping in the tool department! Can you take your dogs into stores there?
Rhonda
(Walter & Edith)
How are you? and Nana & Uyanga? My husband's niece is going to be living in Osaka,Japan for a few months. Her husband has a job there. Is it close to you? Pumpkin had a great run in the park today with 3 Whippets, 2 Swiss Mountain dogs and a melange. She's crashed on her bed now. How is your weather? We're sunny in the days but cool at night now. Take care.
hi florence, am doing fine, so much goes on in a single day---jake walks now..and kaley has gotten her first agility title already ---- onward and upward for all of us here...want to catch all the news, stay close to flickr, i practically live on it via my pics...and go to www.sansanpups.com and read www.jakechow.com.
Hello Florence and family
Me too, haven't been here for a while, and I miss you too. I was away because of my English's testing, which overed last Saturday, but not done yet still more tests for me to come. The protest in my country is clamed but still going on, it's very sad that this conflict sacrified with life, one young girl dead and many other lost their limps, because police used an expired smoke bombs.
Anyways, as I've told you, we have welcomed a new little girl , i will add her picture here. It's nice to see you again.
Have a wonderful day!
Hi Florence,
Good to hear from you, write when you have time. I'm never too far away from my lap top. I'm doing my homework (French lessons)! Bye bye for now.
Hi Florence......I haven't had a chance to open my corgi site for awhile...but Christine keeps asking if I've seen you here. Thank You and I'm so glad to meet you! What adorable kids you have. Great photos! I think I can actually see them giggleing! Happy Happy Corgis. Isn't it funny to see the differences between Cardi and Pems? I've only got my 2 now because Riley went back home to her mothers. That's them in my cover pic..they're both so beautiful and you can see they just love each other to death. I get to see her alot though and she thinks she won the Prize of being an only child! She runs the house now and doesn't have to share any of her toys. She thinks that's cool. You've inspired me to add some new pictures, yours are just beautiful! I'm going to have a challenge because yours are really great. I'll really try to add more comments.Thank you for meeting you !!
I just wanted to say that you have some very good looking children (I mean Corgis) I love that they look so happy and you had a lot of great shots of them! I laughed when I say them in their Halloween getups! OMG that was toooooo cute! How in the world did you get them to sit still?!
sorry for the late reply! the family is great! and crazy! i have two very good families for the babies. it's going to be so hard to let them go! but i am sure they will be better off! thanks for the comment! your corgi's are beautiful
Yes, Finn is still just a baby. He's 17 weeks. My fiance's family has Pems and my family has a Cardi. I just love how goofy Cardis are and the variety of coat colors. We debated for quite a while between a black headed tri Pembroke and a blue merle Cardigan. One day I would still like to get a tri Pem. :)
Bonjour Florence,
How are you and the Corgis? You have been away a long time, we missed you. I'm in France, only left for 2 weeks this winter and Pumpkin stayed here. Things are busy here, Cannes Film Festival, and we're going to a lot of movies in the competition. The weather is warm & sunny so we're happy. What's new with you? when do you finish your school term?
Give kisses on the nose to the pups.
