About My Corgi(s):

In the last couple of years, I've lost my beautiful fur-babies, Sid, Babs and Cloe. Like all who have lost their fur-babies, it's a pain that never goes away. I think of them always even though I have 3 Corgis and Peanut to keep me busy, they are close to my heart. My new additions, Hilary and Nutmeg are twins even though you would never know it by looking at them. They are full of energy and love playing, chasing and relaxing with their big brothers. My older Pupsters welcomed them into their world right away and they love them as much as I do. . .they have taken them under their paws and are teaching them all the do(s) and don't(s). They look forward to their morning walks, enjoy their chewies, stuffed toys and going to the doggie park. . .I can't imagine life without them. . . .WHO KNEW????"

MY BELONGS TO ANDY HILARY & NUTMEG

My 3 wonderful Corgis, a joy to behold
with short stocky legs
and a heart of solid gold.

Protective and fearless, yet loving and true
3 Corgis that bring sunshine
to turn dark skies blue.

Asleep by my chair, or playing outside
I love my 3 Corgis
right here by my side.

I have:

Hello again! Thanks for your gift and 'friending" me on here. I just love your dogs! I will have to post more photos of my Oliver and kitten, Jeter together but waiting for pics to be developled. Oliver is getting so big at 16 weeks. He's already 21 lbs and so very, very smart! P.S. Love the little cogi icon curser!

    Hello again Whitedove,

Cloe is precious! That's a great pic!! so adorable. Oliver goes for neutering 12/9 so I wonder how he'll be afterwards. I wanted to ask you, how long did it take your dogs to become potty trained? I do use a crate. Oliver goes for almost 2 1/2 weeks and then has a little pee accident.

Thanks for the invite. I have missed having Corgi's. I saw Grace and she was love at first site. She will be a challenge but I hope in the end will be worth it.

  • Jodie and Tori

Hello and thank you for the warm welcome! What a beautiful family! Tori, aka QUEEN VICTORI, is our first Corgi and surely not our last. We have been able to retire at a relatively young age and she is the center of our universe! Not sure of your tri-colored baby's name but Tori could be her twin, when grows up of course! Let's stay in touch! xoxo Tori ^..^

  • Judy Durnbaugh

Thanks for your welcome! My husband and I were just admiring the pictures of your sweet dogs. We had a little white dog who looked a lot like your Peanut except he had longer hair, his name was Buddy. He died several months ago at age 17. Your red and white corgies look a lot like my Lucy - they always have a smile on their faces! take care, Judy

  • Vicki Ruthven

Hi There, How are all the boys? Are there girls? Only just got your request as haven't been on for a while. Carter is doing as well as can be expected for an old boy. Sleeps a lot. Had a bad day last weekend but has returned to normal for the present time. It is snowing here today. Actually gave in and made him a wee fleece coat of sorts which he seems to like. Feels the cold more this year.

Your dogs are adorable!! Such sweet Corgis and your other dog looks so much like a dear friend of ours dog who is part Chiuaua and we think part Jack Russell, her name is Susana =). Thanks for the welcome!

  • Courtney and Webley <3

White Dove: Thank you for asking me to be a friend. This is my very first social networking site. I have no idea what I am doing and can use all the friends I can get. Please share any tips in maintaining my site and what I need to do to be polite. Do I answer when someone comments or likes my pictures? I love your little corgi arrow and other cool things on your site. Your pet family is awesome! What are the gifts? Why do I have people's comments before and after the pictures? Thank you! Snickmom

A grand group of folks! I didn't think anything could replace my Little Girl when she passed this spring. The Little Man show me that that is true. He is something completely different. While I find myself looking at the pictures of the little queen somewhat wistfully at times, I am more than in awe at the Little Man who has entered my life. I cannot imagine someone not wanting him - my complete gain! http://members.virtualtourist.com/m/tt/b95ef/ Cheers from the wet north!

  • Snickmom

Over 9,000 members shows how popular Corgis are becoming. It worries me that people will get one because they are the IN dog and not be willing to work with them. Your dogs all look healthy, but you see so many who are over weight. Of course that applies to all pets, but Corgis are so hard to keep slim.

  • Kimberly Colette Arvold

    Thank you...great photo!

  • Arthur Eschenburg

thank you for the welcoming picture!!

  • Ash & Jax

Too cute! Thank you for the welcome :)

  • Lucy & Ricky (Wendy/Jack )

I just realized that I know all your dogs' names and not yours! I'm Wendy. I also enjoyed reading that you were one of the first 20 members of this wonderful site. Lucky you. I stumbled upon mycorgi relatively late, and now I can't imagine not having this site in my life. Where did you find this info? I often wish the dates were posted that members first joined so I could figure out the age of the Corgis now. But, who am I kidding? I can barely remember anything I read these days!

  • Tara Ludwig

Thanks for the welcome :) That's quite the pack you have! They are all very cute :)

  • Carol Godbout

    How have you been?
  • Snickmom

My friend WhiteDove changed to a really neat picture! Cool.

  • Snickmom

We had really bad wind yesterday. The corgis didn't care but Jack Spaniels was crying like a baby. I am trying to delete a photo and can't figure it out. I've done it before! Can you help?

  • Kelli & Ethan K

Thank you for your adorable welcome. You have beautiful Corgis!

  • Lucy & Ricky (Wendy/Jack )

    You are Peanut's angel.

  • Lucy & Ricky (Wendy/Jack )

Peanut seems right at home, like he was born there. Lucy would never let Ricky-Rafa rest so much as a toe nail on her. She has very strong boundaries. He has none! How great that your pack accepted Peanut so quickly and so well. Kudos to you.

  • Lucy & Ricky (Wendy/Jack )

I sent you a message, but I don't see it, that it seems that Peanut was meant to find you guys. There's a Hebrew word we say "beshert" (pronounced bah-SHIRT) meaning it was was meant to be, destiny, soul mate. Seems to me that Peanut was beshert!

  • Lucy & Ricky (Wendy/Jack )

He'd have to be! C'mon, holding his own in a house full of Corgis...show lots of character & also shows that HE IS a character. He found his way to you.

PS hahaha. NOW i find my message. Sometimes I have so much trouble navigating this site, and frequently lose messages. but, i love this site.

  • Snickmom

I'm sure I'll get the hang of this site eventually, but it is a little frustrating right now.
  • susan rhona coffey

We have a Peanut also, someone dropped her off on our street when she was about 8 months old, I was outside gardening and she came over and crawled on my lap, she has been here ever since, she named herself, I tried all different names and when I got to Peanut, she jumped up and wagged her tail, so that is her name and her coat is the colour of a roasted peanut..

  • susieq59

    White Dove,

I love your new profile pic! It's magically and mystically adorable!

  • Aly Harbert

    Thank you very much. :)

  • Valdis Dauksts

Thank you and a happy stocky little fellow greeting. Zak really likes your gang o corgis..

  • Lucy & Ricky (Wendy/Jack )

    Yatahey, my friend!

Perfect timing for me to check my mail. I've been boning up on Corgi history, going through old handbooks, newsletters, reminiscing of Corgis in my past. Tell me more about your heritage. I trust that you are part Navajo, on your sire and dam sides (haha!). I also speak Spanish, but have never been to Spain. My dgt took a semester abroad in Madrid, but at the last minute we had to cancel our visit because my husband got a back injury. I always say that the 3 places I have to see are Spain, Texas and New Orleans.

  • Whitney and Ariel

Thank you for the warm welcome! Ariel and I are glad to be here! :)

  • Ashley Byers

Thank you for the warm welcome!

  • Lucy & Ricky (Wendy/Jack )

Yatahey! I too loved My Little Margie. Believe it or not, I still think of that show today, when I see the re-runs of I Love Lucy. I named Lucy after that redhead! I wish they had reruns of MLMargie! Of course I watched Roy Rogers too. Now I'll never forget either name for you, Whitehorse the Man and Theodora's. Were either of them raised on a reservation? Did you spend time on a reservation. I love the Indian culture and used to read my kids many books. I remember this picture book, "Knots on a Counting Rope." I used to read it to my girls and I would cry every time I read it. And I read it very often! I still have it. I love the name WhiteDove. Initially I just thought it was an internet call name or user ID name that you created. I'm so glad that I asked about your name!

  • Lucy & Ricky (Wendy/Jack )

According to my dgt, Whitney, when you visit Madrid don't miss Barcelona, too ; )

    Take me with you!!

  • Bev Levy

Thank you so much and I hope your Christmas is wonderful and filled with love from your furry family!
