Event Description

The BOWser Abode Tour makes going to the doghouse look like an episode of MTV Cribs.

The 2008 Rescue Rally and Celebration is a touring display of nine designer doghouses created by local architects, builders, artists, and designers. It's now at the Seminole Mall, where doghouses will be on display through June 26. The celebration includes a "Tricky Dog Show," as well as animal rescue groups on site and pet CPR demonstrations.

After touring area sites, doghouses will be auctioned off in November at the Bark-i-tecture Bash, to benefit the Pinellas Animal Foundation. 11am-3pm Sat.

I saw this article in the Tampa Bay Times and thought it would be a great place to go. If not for a meet up then just as something to do. I will be going tomorrow at 11am after the mall opens. I'll probably go in my lavender t-shirt and capries. I hope that some of you in the St. Pete area can go to this as well.

Oops, didnt read that, so it will be from 11 to 3 Saturday at the Seminole Mall? Thats the one off Seminole Blvd just off the 275 right?

Comment by James on June 23, 2008 at 2:49am: I would love to go, plus, I love the Tampa area. It would be a great "We just finished out shots" trip. Will it continue through the weekend? There is no possibility of me leaving town on a Thursday :(.
