Update 8-21-10 - I got more info about the party:
Join us on Saturday August 28th at 5:30 p.m. for the next of our breed parties, the Crazy Corgi Party! There will be fun games such as Ring Around the Corgi, a Corgi Timed Dash and a Corgi Limbo! You will also get the chance to meet our newest doctor, Dr. Willey. Entrance fee is $10.00 per pet and every attendee goes home with a goodie bag. This event is open to the public, so tell your friends! Large and small, young and old, all corgi and corgi mixes are welcome! Please contact the office at 407.277.3497 if you have any questions or would like to sign up!

A local vet's office is featuring a different breed each month and throwing a party to celebrate. August is Corgi Month! Here's the info from their website:

Join us on Saturday August 28th at 5:30pm for a fun party especially for corgis and corgi mixes! There will be fun games and goodie bags to take home. The cost is $10 per pet. Please contact the office to sign up.

*Please note, this party is being hosted by East Orlando Animal Hosptail (EOAH) and not by myself or the Central Florida Corgi Meetup group. I'm just passing the word along for what sounds like a fun party! Any questions concerning the event should be directed towards EOAH and I've included their contact info here.

Comment by Stanley & Charlotte on August 20, 2010 at 6:37pm: Monaca, I doubt they would turn away other breeds (it is $10 per dog so they'd esentially be turning down money!) But to be on the safe side, I would call them (you have to call them to sign up anyways).
