Event Description

We've been offered a chance to rent the facilities at University of Doglando to hold our playdate. The University of Doglando has 3.5 acres of land for our dogs to play on. They have a total of six yards that contain various activities and play equipment for dogs and humans alike. Ranging from jungle gym equipment to official agility equipment and even a Tiki Hut. It would be a closed session for our specific meetup group. The cost is only $1 per dog in the form of a donation to their new non-profit Puppy B.R.E.A.T.H. where University of Doglando is raising puppies in a stable environment and giving them a certain level of exposure so that they would not get in the shelters.

The playdate has been scheduled for Sunday, February 28th from 2-4pm. The University of Doglando is on Colonial Drive off of Alafaya in East Orlando. You can find out more info about the facility on their website.

Comment by Susan , Radar and Cooper on February 28, 2010 at 11:58pm: I'm really bummed out that we didn't get to go. Radar has a cornea ulcer and the medicine keeps his eye dilated. Vet said no sunlight. I was going to risk it but I'm kinda glad I didn't, there was alot of sand from what I could tell from the pictures. Hopefully next month.

Would it be ok if we brought our third dog Penny - a mini schnauzer/poodle mutt - along, too? We don't want her to be left out if it's alright with the rest of you. Plus, Edward tends to get a little antsy if we don't bring Penny with us when he goes someplace.

Please let me know if this is ok.
