It is a Corgi only activity (Pems and Cardi's invited). It is called "An Intro into Herding." All dogs must wear a flat collar only. No choke chain or show leads.
"Got Corgi? Come join us for a day of herding fun!! This will be an informal, fun intro to herding for dogs and/or people who have little to no experience with herding! There will be several stations available which each have a different activity- from testing your dog’s instinct on sheep, to playing ‘herding games’ with ducks or lambs. There will also be an ‘Intro to Herding’ lecture, as well as herding demos of the progressive levels of training, all done by local Corgis.
There is no pre-entry. The cost is $5 per ‘activity ticket’ which you buy that day. You choose which activities to participate in and pay with tickets. The ‘herding games’ activities cost 1 ticket, and the instinct test/lesson cost is 2 tickets. Enter as many ‘runs’ as time allows. Our instinct tester is Nancy Ward, owner of Brigand’s HideOut, who is a herding instructor and AKC judge."
