Another tragic accident involving a potato chip bag

I read a message on Ebay from Evie Anderson, who does whimsical corgi paintings, about one of her customers who lost his corgi due to a potatoe chip bag. He got into the bag and couldn't get his head out and suffocated.

PLEASE! PLEASE! make sure your chip bags are out of your precious baby's reach! I make my husband cut down the bag as he eats them, so that it won't be as large, should Duncan and Chloe get their head in the bag. So far, I've been lucky with my two. They don't bother the bag, even when he has left it on the couch.

I do the same thing..cut the bag down as you eat them. Even though my dogs know not to touch table food..they are dogs and I do have 2 kids in the house that daily have memory loss of the rules around here. LOL
Thank you for the warning. Maybe another good reason to cut down consumption of bagged snack foods!! Sorry.... Nancy
I never would have concidered a snack bag being dangerous... ><
We do have alot as the fiancee enjoys his chips and such.
Cutting down the bags is a good idea! Thank you for the warning- this never occured to me to be a potential hazard (I know garbage bags/grocery bags are bad, but I figured that was mainly because of the material they were made of tends to cling to things)
