I read that Queen Elizabeth II had her 1st. corgi when she was around 8 years old. Her father bought it for her and her sister, Princess Margaret. On her honeymoon when she married Prince Phillip, she took along one of her corgis. She has between 5 to 10 corgis. At one time, she even had 12 corgis! In all these years, she had over 30 corgis.
It was when my family and I watched the royal family on tv, while in England that we decided to buy our first corgi, Roger. I lived in England for the first 10 years of my life although I was born in Singapore. My love for corgis has never waned.

I was just doing research on this subject about two days ago, but I didn't find anything.
The Queen has excellent taste. Corgis look perfect walking around in a palace.
