Corgi Sighting....Need Advice!

Hello everyone!!

I was on facebook tonight, on one of my friends pages and came across one of her friends that has a pem tri corgi on her profile pic. I clicked on the profile pic to see more corgi pics :)

Of course I am overjoyed, but am not sure how to approach my joy. hehe. Do I send her a message explaining who I am and that I also own a corgi? Help, lol.

Update: I have sent a message to my neighbors friend and have also requested to be her friend. I also changed my profile pic to my corgis pic and added a second pic to the message. :) Maybe Lance will have another corgi to play with?? :)

I have actually done this on several occasions. How else am I supposed to meet corgis and get my fix? I have actually made some lasting friends using this method (the crazy corgi lady in the car method).

Yes! Send her a message. That you just happened to see her and one Corgi lover to another...wanted to say "hey"! Once I saw a profile pic of a lady with a gorgeous German Shepherd. I sent her a message saying how beautiful I thought her dog was. She replied and agreed he was beautiful LOL! That was the end of it but I just felt like telling her so I did. :)

Thanks for everyones responses! I usually wouldn't hestitate but I think this situation is different just because my neighbor knows this person already. The other unusual circumstance is that this corgi owner was going to be at my neighbors house this weekend supposedly, I sooo wanted to send them a message to bring their corgi with, lol. I did not because 1. I didnt want to impose on her plans with my neighbor especially since she doesnt even know me yet and 2. My sister threw me a party for my 40th birthday, so I knew I would be a bit tired on Sunday!!

I am going to send her a message though. :)

You start by telling her about MyCorgi.com. Then go on from there.......the corgi either lives with a playmate friendly family, or not. You'll soon know. Definitely no different that friending people on this site. That mutual love of Corgi is the common denominator....Good luck!

If it was me i would be over joyed if someone sent me message/ added me to facebook if they had a corgi to and just to find out someone i know, knows someone with a corgi, even if it was a corgi mix. Can never hurt.
