I would first like to apologize if this isn't an acceptable request to post on your discussion board.
For fourteen years I was blessed to live an with an incredible Corgi named Corky. Sadly, he passed away two years ago of old age, but my love for all corgis remains undiminished. I am an aspiring actress and theatre director living in Manhattan, and cannot afford to have my own Corgi - thought believe me - every time I see one up for adoption it gets harder to not run to the adoption center.
If anyone has a corgi in Manhattan and is looking for a sitter/walker, I would love put myself up for the job. I don't know what the going rate is for such a service, but I will accept any reasonable offer It would just be a fabulous opportunity to make some extra money while caring for a Corgi. I should also mention, Corky was in a wheelchair for the last few months of his life, so I am comfortable dealing with doggy wheelchairs.
In addition to my Corgi, I have dog sat for Golden Retrievers and Black Labs in Manhattan, so I can provide references if necessary.
Again, I apologize if it taboo to post this here, but I don't know of any other ways of finding Corgis who need walks or a little extra TLC in Manhattan. Thank you for your time and consideration.
